I'm not surprised that Elon Musk took a shot at The New York Times for calling out his verification fee, but it's still pretty shady . I mean, who wants to pay $8/month to keep their blue check? It's just not right. And now that they're basically getting a 'verified because we feel like it' label, it's super confusing . It's all about silencing criticism and making them pay for being outspoken... sounds fishy to me! Twitter needs to get its act together and figure out what's going on with these verification fees .
just thinkin bout this Elon Musk thing... i mean who loses their blue check cuz they dont pay $8? it seems like hes tryna send a message or somethin... but its all good, Twitter still got the power 2 cuss out whoever does dat
I think Elon Musk needs to chill out , seriously though, targeting The New York Times like that just adds fuel to the fire . I mean, come on, paying for Twitter Blue shouldn't even matter if you're a legit news org . It's like they're trying to silence critics or something . And what's with all these new labels ? Just gonna confuse users and make them question who's verified and who's not . Twitter needs some stability, not this Musk whirlwind .
idk why musk even bothered announcing this in the first place . just great, now the NYT is all salty about it and we're left with more confusion on the app. lol what a joke that he'd target the nytimes over actual issues like bots and harassment. sounds like he's trying to silence anyone who disagrees with him . honestly, can't wait to see how this whole thing blows up in his face . it's not like twitter needs any more drama
