Epstein trial would have been ‘crapshoot’, plea-deal prosecutor tells Congress

idk how ppl can still be surprised about this stuff 🤯 like cmon we all knew epstein was a piece of shit and trump & maxwell were involved somehow...the fact that he got away with it for so long is just wild 🚨and now we're just finding out more about the cover ups and it's getting crazy 💥as for acosta, i dont blame him for trying to negotiate a deal tho, it was a crapshoot and who knows if they would've even gotten a conviction...anyway its good that new evidence is coming to light maybe justice can finally be served 🤞

🤔😬 I'm so done with ppl thinkin they can just waltz in n take advantage othrs like Epstein did! 🚫💸 2008 plea deal was like a crapshoot, but Acosta's the one who made it happen, and I got to give him props for that 💯. Problem is, he did some shady stuff too 🤥, but we need more clarity on what happened behind closed doors 👀.

Ghislaine Maxwell's involvement with Trump's crew was like a ticking time bomb 🤯! How could they've missed it? It's like, basic investigative work, ppl! 😡 Acosta says he didn't consult with Trump, but let's be real, he musta had some whisperin goin on 🗣️. Anywayz, new evidence keep comin out, and it's time for answers 💬!

OMG, I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole Epstein situation 🤯... like, can you even believe that some people think a plea deal was a good idea? 🙄 It's all about the politics and who you know, right? The fact that Acosta had to negotiate with state authorities to get any kind of commitment from them is just wild. And don't even get me started on Trump and Ghislaine Maxwell... like, how could they not have done anything? 🤷‍♀️ It's just so frustrating when it comes to powerful people getting away with stuff because of their connections.

But you know what really gets me? The victims themselves - some of them were basically discredited by the system because they had prior issues or pre-MySpace pages 🙈. Like, how does that even work? It's just so messed up. And now we're still trying to figure out what went down and why it all happened in the first place... I'm low-key obsessed with this story and I need more answers ASAP 🤔

Ugh 🤯, can't believe this... so they were basically just throwing a dice at it with Epstein's plea deal back in 2008 😱. I mean, come on, how hard is it to prove that someone did something wrong? It seems like the government was more worried about not looking bad than actually doing their job 🤷‍♂️.

And don't even get me started on Alex Acosta's decision to back down and negotiate a deal... what about all those victims who were, like, totally traumatized by Epstein but couldn't even get their stories straight? 💔 It just feels like more cover-up stuff to me 🤥.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how someone like Jeff Epstein could've gotten away with so much for so long 🤯. I mean, a plea deal? It sounds like a cop-out to me. And what's even more messed up is that we're only hearing about this now because of all the new evidence coming out.

I feel bad for the victims who have had to relive their traumas all over again because of this scandal. And let's be real, it's not just them - it's also the countless others who were affected by Epstein's crimes and covered up for him.

It's crazy that we're still debating whether or not federal prosecutors should've pursued this case more aggressively 🤔. I think what really needs to happen here is that there's a thorough investigation into how all of this went down, including any potential corruption or influence peddling.

And can we please talk about how Prince Andrew's decision to give up his royal title and honors is not enough? Like, what exactly are they gonna do with him now? It's just a bandaid solution at best 🤷‍♀️. We need real accountability for this kind of abuse of power.

🤔 I'm low-key shocked that Alex Acosta was able to negotiate a plea deal with Epstein considering all the red flags 🚨💉. The stats on victims' credibility are mind-boggling 📊 - 70% of them had pre-existing issues, like MySpace pages or priors 📈. It's no wonder defense attorneys would try to discredit them in court 😳.

Here are some more stats that got me thinking:
- In 2019, the FBI received over 350 tips about Epstein's sex trafficking ring 🚨
- The National Sexual Violence Resource Center reports that 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 71 boys will be sexually abused before age 18 📊
- According to a study published in the Journal of Sex Research, victims of human trafficking are more likely to experience PTSD than combat veterans 💔

I'm curious to see how many of these cases go unsolved. The lack of transparency in plea deals like this one is just... 🤯
