Epstein trial would have been ‘crapshoot’, plea-deal prosecutor tells Congress

I'm totally still shook about this whole Jeffrey Epstein thing 🤯💔 I mean, can you even believe they thought taking the case to trial would've been a total lost cause? Like, the defense team's got some serious ammo against those victims with all the inconsistencies in their stories... and don't even get me started on how they tried to discredit them with social media pages and prior convictions 🙄 It just feels like the system was so broken back then.

And now that Prince Andrew is giving up his royal title, it's like, about time, you know? I mean, who knew he was still besties with Epstein all these years? It's wild how some people just can't let go of their connections to power and influence... it's just so messed up 🤕 And what really gets me is that Alex Acosta seems so genuinely remorseful about the whole thing, you know? He's owning up to the fact that they messed up, and I'm like, finally some accountability! 💯

💔 "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall" – Nelson Mandela 🙏 We can't change the past, but we can learn from it and make better decisions moving forward. The plea deal with Epstein is a painful reminder of the complexities of our justice system and the pressure that powerful figures can exert on those who are meant to hold them accountable.

🤔 I'm not surprised to hear Alex Acosta say that going to trial would've been a crapshoot, tbh 🙅‍♂️. The whole Epstein case was super murky from the get-go, and you can't blame the prosecution team for wanting to avoid the drama of cross-examining victims in court 💔. But at the same time, it's kinda fishy that they could just settle for a non-prosecution agreement without anyone really scrutinizing it more closely 🔍.

And let's talk about Prince Andrew's new title 🤷‍♂️ - like, what's the point of even having royal titles if you're gonna be friends with a pedophile? It's not like he's getting off scot-free or anything... just kinda feels like a weak attempt to maintain some semblance of dignity 💪.

Anyway, it's clear that there were definitely larger forces at play in this whole thing 🤝. I'm not saying Acosta was influenced by Trump or anyone else, but the fact that he operates in "different circles" is still pretty suspicious 🤑. Guess we'll just have to keep digging into all these questions and see what comes up 💥
