Erdogan’s political fate may be determined by Turkey’s Kurds | CNN

I don't know how the HDP not running a candidate is gonna affect things but at least it's a step towards peace 🙏🏼. Erdogan's been a big part of Turkey's politics for ages and I feel bad for anyone who's gotta deal with him 😒. If Kilicdaroglu wins, maybe that'll be a fresh start for the country 👍. But what really concerns me is how this might impact the Kurdish people 🤔. They've been through so much already... let's hope this doesn't lead to any more conflict 💔. Maybe if Turkey and its Kurdish population can come together, they can create a more positive future 🌈. Only time will tell how things play out 🕰️.

so its kinda weird that turkey's pro-kurdish party is basically not running a candidate but thats actually super strategic 🤔 - they dont wanna be associated with erdogan but still want to influence the vote, its like they're playing both sides at once 💸 and if kilicdaroglu wins, its like a win-win for them too 🎉 but on the other hand, the party is literally facing persecution and closure so maybe thats not as great of an outcome 😒

Imagine 🤔 a big puzzle with many pieces, and each piece is a party or faction in Turkey's politics 🇹🇷. The HDP, being a pro-Kurdish party, has decided not to run its own candidate, which means its supporters will be voting for either Erdogan's rival or the current president 🤝. This move might seem like a loss, but it's actually a clever strategy 💡.

The HDP is trying to create a "contaminated political climate" if they were to field their own candidate 🚫, which could lead to more violence and division in Turkey ⚠️. By not running, they're hoping to promote peaceful and democratic solutions to the Kurdish conflict 💬. And who knows, this move might just pressure Erdogan to address the concerns of Turkey's Kurdish minority 👥.

The HDP is playing a delicate game, balancing between being seen as a key player in Turkish politics 🤝 and avoiding polarizing the vote 🔴🔵. If they succeed, it could be a turning point for Turkey's politics 🔄. But if not, the consequences might be severe 🌪️.

Here's a simple diagram to illustrate this:
```
+---------------+
| Erdogan |
+---------------+
|
|
v
+---------------+ +---------------+
| HDP | | Kilicdaroglu |
| (no | | (main rival) |
| cand.) | | |
+---------------+ +---------------+
```
Let's see how this plays out 🤞!
