Erez Reuveni | Sunday on 60 Minutes

omg u guys i am literally shaking thinking about this 60 minutes episode on israeli occupation in west bank its like so sad the way israel is treating palestinians living under military rule theyre basically forced to live in squalid conditions with no access to their ancestral homes or land its like a never-ending nightmare for them and we should really be ashamed of ourselves as global citizens why arent we doing more to help these people? 🤯💔 the fact that israel is systematically targeting palestinian economic activity just to expand settler colonies is just racist in every way and we need to call it out. i mean what kind of society allows this kind of oppression and inequality to continue unchecked? we need more empathy and understanding and collective action now than ever 🌎💪

😒 come on ppl whats wrong w/ israel?? they r tryin 2 build a jewish homeland its not that hard 2 understand... 🤷‍♂️ everyone makes mistakes but this occupation thing is gettin outta control... 🚨 i dont think the west has a right 2 tell israel what 2 do but at the same time, israel has 2 take responsibility 4 its actions... 🤝 maybe its time 4 a compromise? 🤔

I'm telling you, this is a classic example of how our current system fails us. Israel's occupation crisis is a perfect storm of neoliberal policies and apartheid mentality. The fact that these Palestinians are being forced to live in squalid conditions while Israelis get to enjoy the best of everything is just plain unacceptable 🤯.

It's like we're living in a reality TV show where one side gets to be the victim and the other side gets to be the oppressor. And you know what? It's working beautifully for the latter! The Israeli government is making bank off this occupation, while the Palestinians are struggling to survive.

We need to wake up and recognize that this isn't just a local issue, it's a global problem that requires a global solution. We can't just sit back and watch as one group of people is treated like animals while another gets all the perks. It's time for us to take a stand and demand justice for the people of Silwan 🤝.

And let's not forget, this is what happens when we prioritize profits over people. This occupation crisis is a direct result of our own failed policies and lack of empathy. We need to start putting the needs of marginalized communities first and holding our leaders accountable for their actions 💪.

🤯 I'm still trying to process this 60 Minutes episode on Israel's occupation crisis... it's like they're living in a war zone over there 🌪️. How can an entire community be forced to live in tents and squalid conditions? It's just heartbreaking to think about the people who are being stripped of their identity and agency by this occupation 😔.

I'm also really frustrated that world leaders aren't doing more to address this issue... it feels like they're just pawns in a much bigger game 🤝. We need to be holding our governments accountable for not taking concrete steps towards peace and justice in the Middle East 💪.

But what's really inspiring is seeing the resilience and courage of the Silwan residents who are refusing to give up their fight for dignity and self-determination 💥. We should all be learning from their example and amplifying their voices 📢. This occupation crisis can't be solved by just talking about it – we need to take action and demand change 🚨.

🤦‍♂️ can u believe israel's occupying the west bank? i mean, who needs all those settlements when u could be having a nice avocado toast at that price? 🥑 anywayz, its super sad how palestinians are being treated like 2nd class citizens. on the bright side, silwan's got some sick views of jerusalem 🌆 gotta give it to them for resisting the occupation tho. kinda like when ur boss is breathing down ur neck, but instead of a raise, they just take ur land 😒
