Ethiopia's Amhara conflict: The forgotten war destroying women's lives

It's really heartbreaking to hear about Enat's story 🤕. The fact that she had to go through such trauma and now can't even care for herself is just devastating. The UN's report on the Ethiopian National Defence Force's actions during the conflict is super alarming, especially with allegations of them using rape as a weapon against minors 👧. It's like, we thought war was bad enough, but this level of brutality is just unacceptable.

I'm not surprised that Amnesty International is speaking out about accountability and justice for survivors - it's long overdue 🕒. The government-commissioned investigation might be a good start, but we need to see some real action taken against those responsible. It's also really concerning that Enat has had to give up her life due to the trauma she experienced 🤷‍♀️.

I think it's super important for us to remember that survivors of sexual violence need our support and care, not just their stories to be told 💕. The BBC ActionLine thing is a great resource, but we need more than just info - we need action and real change.

OMG this is soooo disturbing 😱 the way women & girls are being treated in Ethiopia right now it's just heartbreaking 🤕 I can only imagine how scared Enat must be after going through all that trauma and not being able to care for her baby girl 🥺 and its so sad that there aren't any concrete actions taken against the perpetrators 🙅‍♂️ like, what's happening?! are they even getting justice or is it just swept under the rug? 💔 this is a huge red flag for human rights abuses in Ethiopia and we need to keep an eye on this situation 👀

It's really sad to see what's happening in Ethiopia rn 💔👧. The use of sexual violence as a weapon of war is absolutely unacceptable 😡. I mean, can you even imagine being in Enat's shoes? Having to go through that trauma and then having to deal with the consequences like becoming pregnant 🤰... it's just heartbreaking.

And what really gets me is that there are people who are trying to cover this up 🚫. The government-commissioned investigation is a good start, but accountability is key 💯. We need to make sure that those responsible are held accountable and that survivors get the justice they deserve 🤝.

I'm thinking of creating a diagram to help visualize the situation... maybe something like:

```
+---------------+
| Conflict |
| between |
| Ethiopian |
| National |
| Defence Force |
+---------------+
|
| Perpetration
| of sexual violence
|
v
+---------------+
| Survivors |
| like Enat |
| (rape, |
| pregnancy) |
+---------------+
```

It's not much, but it might help to raise awareness about this issue 🌟. We need more people to talk about it and demand change 💪.

OMG 🤯, this is like soooo disturbing! I mean, can u believe what's happening in Ethiopia? The use of sexual violence as a weapon of war is just mind-boggling 🤕. It's like, the perpetrators are literally getting away with murder... err, I mean, rape 😩. And it's not just the victims who are suffering, but also their families and communities.

I feel so bad for Enat and all the other survivors out there. They're going through so much trauma and pain, and they need help and support ASAP 🙏. It's like, the system is broken and no one is holding anyone accountable. The UN and Amnesty International are trying to do their part, but it's just not enough 😔.

We need more action, not just words. We need to hold these perpetrators accountable and make sure they face justice. And we need to support our survivors and help them heal 🤗. This is like, a total human rights crisis and we can't just sit back and do nothing 💪.

omg this is so heartbreaking 😭 its like the world is watching but nobody is doing anything about it in ethiopia the way they are handling this situation is really shady tbh how can u just have an investigation and not do anything about it? and what about enat she's been through so much already and still has to live with the trauma of being raped and pregnant its like the government is more concerned about winning the war than about the lives of its citizens 🤯 we need to see real action taken against these perpetrators ASAP 💪
