Ex-EPA head urges US to resist Trump attacks on climate action: 'We won't become numb'

I gotta say, it's amazing to see all these US cities and states standin' up for climate action despite the Trump admin's attacks ๐Ÿ˜Š. I mean, we've seen some crazy stuff go down with this guy, but it seems like he just won't give up on tryin' to block clean energy incentives and whatnot. But honestly, it's kinda cool to see all these states and cities banding together and sayin', "Hey, we're not gonna let you shut us down!" ๐Ÿค

I've got a friend who lives in California, and they've been dealin' with some of this stuff firsthand - like when Trump decided to pull outta the Paris Climate Agreement ๐Ÿšซ. But my friend's all about it, and they're part of that America Is All In coalition, too! They're talkin' climate action, renewable energy, the whole nine yards ๐Ÿ’š

It's also kinda wild thinkin' about how some folks are tryin' to block policies and incentives for clean energy. I mean, come on, we gotta take care of our planet, right? ๐ŸŒŽ It's not like it's rocket science or anythin'! But seriously, it's heartening to see all these cities and states pushin' back against the fossil fuel industry's influence ๐Ÿ’ช.

Anyway, I'm rootin' for 'em, and I hope they keep up the good fight! ๐ŸŒŸ

I'm not sure I buy into all this talk about cities and states standing up to the feds on climate change ๐Ÿค”. It just seems like a PR stunt to me, trying to save face after years of denial and obstructionism from the Trump administration ๐Ÿ’ฆ. And let's be real, what's the point of committing to reducing pollution by 56% if you're just gonna undo it all with new policies? ๐Ÿšฎ I'd rather see some concrete action on clean energy and not just empty words ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

I gotta say, I'm feeling pretty hopeful about all these US cities and states pushing back against Trump's climate policies ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ‘. It's like, we can't let them get away with trying to block progress on clean energy and reducing pollution. We need more people standing up for the future of our planet, you know? The fact that they're already making moves to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 56% by 2035 is huge ๐Ÿคฏ.

And I love what Gina McCarthy said about not allowing ourselves to get "numb or debilitated" by those who are trying to stop us. That's like, so true. We can't let fear and intimidation dictate our actions. We gotta keep pushing forward, even when it gets tough ๐Ÿ’ช.

It's also crazy that these states are using the law to take on Trump's attacks ๐Ÿšซ. Sheldon Whitehouse is like a superhero for climate action! And I love how he's calling out the fossil fuel industry as "villains" in this whole story ๐Ÿšฎ. They're definitely not heroes, let's put it that way ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Overall, I'm feeling pretty optimistic about where we are right now with climate action. We just gotta keep pushing and making sure our voices are heard ๐Ÿ’ฌ.

I THINK ITS AMAZING TO SEE US CITIES AND STATES STANDING UP FOR CLIMATE ACTION DESPITE THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION'S ATTEMPTS TO SABOTAGE THEM!!! ๐Ÿ™Œ IT MAKES ME SO HOPEFUL THAT WE CAN TURN A CORNER ON CLIMATE CHANGE IF WE ALL WORK TOGETHER! ๐Ÿ’š I FEEL BAD FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT BELIEVE IN SCIENCE BECAUSE ITS NOT EASY TO SEE THE DAMAGE WE'RE DOING TO OUR PLANET, BUT WE NEED TO KEEP SHOUTING FROM THE ROOFTOPS AND DEMANDING ACTION!!! ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ

I think its crazy how some US cities and states are still pushing for climate action despite Trump's administration trying to block them ๐Ÿคฏ. It just goes to show that when people care about something, they won't give up easily ๐Ÿ’ช. I mean, the fact that they're all banded together through the America Is All In coalition is a great sign of unity and determination ๐ŸŒŽ. And it's not just about the US - globally we need to see more countries and leaders taking bold action on climate change, instead of getting bogged down by special interest groups who are clearly trying to hold us back ๐Ÿ’ธ.

just watched that press call with gina mccarthy and i gotta say, it's crazy how trump's gonna try to stop cities and states from taking action on climate change ๐Ÿคฏ meanwhile, the US is still one of the largest polluters in the world... shouldn't we be doing more? ๐ŸŒŽ
