And what really gets me is how they're trying to shift the focus away from the civil rights implications and onto the wife of the person who got shot. That just seems like a huge distraction from the real issue at hand. And now that Agent Mergen's gone, I'm worried we'll never get to see justice served in this case.
I'm also kinda curious about the whole Feeding Our Future thing... sounds like some serious shady business going on there. But if no conclusive evidence is gonna come out of it, what's the point? It just feels like a bunch of red tape and cover-ups.
This whole incident makes me think that law enforcement agencies need to be held accountable for their actions... especially when it comes to investigating cases that involve some serious civil rights issues.
