Losing Your Phone? Don't Panic - Find It with These Simple Steps

For iPhone users, there are two ways to find their phone: using another Apple device or signing in from a browser. Here's how:
* Use Find My on another Apple device
1. Open the Find My app
2. Tap Devices
3. Swipe up to see your full list of devices
4. Select your missing iPhone
5. View the location on the map
6. Tap Directions to navigate to it
7. Tap Play Sound if the phone is on and nearby
If you only have access to a computer or an Android phone, use iCloud.com to locate your device. The browser version gives fewer tools, but it still shows your iPhone on the map.
Find Your iPhone from a Web Browser
1. Go to icloud.com/find
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Approve two-factor if needed
Select All Devices and choose your missing iPhone. Use Play Sound if the device is on and nearby, then Turn on Lost Mode to lock it and show a message for anyone who finds it.
To track an Android phone that's off or dead:

I totally get why people freak out when they lose their phones - it's like losing a part of ourselves, right? 
But seriously, having these built-in tracking features is super convenient. I think what really matters here is that you're not locked into relying on the phone itself to track it down. So many devices have these same features, and it's just a matter of knowing where to look (or tap 
) on your other device or browser to start searching.
but it's actually not the end of the world... I mean, I've had my fair share of losing them in the past (who hasn't, right?) and it always feels like an eternity before you find them. But what I wish more people knew was to take care of their phone from the start - set up two-factor auth, enable location history, use a strong screen lock... that way when it does happen, you won't be scrambling around like me trying to remember where I last had it 
losing ur phone is super stressful lol u think ur in big trouble and all that but the good news is its not the end of the world ... both apple & android have those built-in tools to help u find it again even if its off or dead 
just remember 2 use iCloud or google account 2 sign in from browser or another apple device & thats it ur phone will be back on track soon 
! It's an easy process to find it again. I mean, think about it - we're always using our phones to track stuff on Google maps and stuff like that. So it's only logical that the devs would add some features to do the same thing for ourselves. Plus, it's not like you'll lose your phone forever 
... just use icloud.com/find or android.com/find and you can find it in no time! You should really set up two-factor authentication and a strong passcode anyway, so it's all good 
so if u've got an iphone, jus open the find my app on another device, swipe up 2 see all ur devices, select ur lost iphone, view the location on the map, tap directions 2 navigate 2 it, & then tap play sound 2 make it ring if it's nearby
