Ford is recalling nearly 750,000 vehicles across the US due to a combination of camera display, steering, and seatbelt issues. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the affected vehicles include over 290,000 units with rearview camera display problems.

In these vehicles, the 360-degree camera system may not display rearview images properly in low-light conditions, making it difficult for drivers to see behind them and increasing the risk of a crash. To fix this issue, Ford dealers can update the image processing module software at no cost to vehicle owners.

This recall marks Ford's third rearview camera-related issue this year, with previous recalls involving nearly 1.1 million vehicles in May and over 200,000 units in July due to similar software problems that could cause the rearview camera image to malfunction when reversing.

Ford is also recalling another 115,539 Super Duty trucks from its lineup due to a potential loss of steering issue involving the steering column upper shaft detaching from the steering column. As a result, drivers may experience a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

For affected vehicles, Ford will inspect and repair or replace the upper shaft at no charge. Letters notifying owners of this safety risk were mailed on October 6, 2025, with a final remedy expected to be available by December 2025.

Additionally, Ford is recalling over 332,778 vehicles due to a seatbelt issue caused by corroded cables that can break when interacting with water and road salt. When these cables fail, the seat belt may not restrain its wearer, putting passengers at an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.

To fix this issue, Ford will inspect and replace the front seat belt cables at no cost to vehicle owners. Remedy letters are expected to be sent in January, when a final solution is reached.

Vehicle owners can contact Ford's customer service at 1-866-436-7332 or NHTSA's vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236 (TTY 888-275-9171) for more information.

Ugh, another recall from Ford πŸ™„. I mean, what's going on with their tech? First it's the rearview camera display, then steering issues and now seatbelt problems... Can't they just get it right? 😩 And to make matters worse, these issues keep popping up this year, like a bad habit. Recall one issue, fix it, but then another one pops up in May or July... It's like they're trying to give car owners the most hassle possible πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ.

And I'm not even getting started on how much it costs for Ford to update their software and replace parts. That's gonna hit consumers hard πŸ’Έ. At least they're sending out letters this time, but still... Can't we just have one reliable car brand for once? πŸ˜‚

Ugh, I'm literally shaking my head over this 🀯... 750k+ vehicles affected by Ford? That's just crazy! And it's not even like they're doing a full recall, it's like these partial fixes πŸ™„. First, the rearview camera display issue, then another steering problem and now this seatbelt thing? It feels like they're having some sort of technical meltdown πŸ€–... And can you believe the prices are non-existent?! Update software for free, replace a part at no cost... it's like Ford is begging us to come back for more πŸ’Έ. I mean, what's going on behind the scenes? Are these problems really that common or was this just a sloppy testing process πŸ€”? Can't wait to see if they get their act together before December πŸ’ͺ

I'm so frustrated with these recalls! 🀯 Firstly, the rearview camera issue is a total nightmare - who wants to be driving around in low-light conditions without seeing what's behind them? It's like Ford is saying "good luck" and hoping they don't crash πŸ™„. And now we've got another steering issue that's just waiting to happen - I'm surprised those Super Duty trucks haven't been involved in a major accident yet! 😱

And on top of all this, you've got people driving around with faulty seatbelts because of corroded cables? It's like they're playing Russian roulette every time they get behind the wheel πŸš—. At least Ford is doing something about it, but I wish they'd been proactive from the start and fixed these issues before they became major problems.

It just goes to show that no matter how advanced technology gets, there's always going to be a way for it to go wrong... πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

omg i cant believe all these recall notices from ford this year 🀯 its getting crazy! and another thing is how many people even bother checking their rearview cameras in low light conditions? πŸ™„ shouldn't that be a standard feature by now anyway? and what's with the software issues again? can't they just get it right for once? πŸ˜’

ummm, i dont think ford's recall issues are that bad πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ...i mean, yeah they got some problems with their cameras and seatbelts but like, most cars have these issues too, right? πŸ˜’ its not like they're the only ones having these kinds of problems...and i feel bad for ford's customers who have to deal with this stuff...but at the same time, its not like they did anything wrong πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ...just a few software glitches and some parts that might corrode...i mean, come on people...let's not be too harsh on them 😊

omg this is getting out of hand πŸš—πŸ’₯ like what's going on with ford?? first it's the rearview camera display, then the steering issue and now seatbelt problems? 🀯 they're basically asking their customers to trust them not to break down again in front of a highway πŸŒ‰ its so frustrating that you gotta do all this drama just to get your car fixed right

anyway i guess its good that ford is taking responsibility for these issues and making it right for free πŸ’Έ the software update should help with the camera display problem, but what about those other issues? how are they gonna fix them without messing up the whole thing again πŸ€”

OMG u guys! πŸš—πŸ˜± can u bliev the recall numbers are getting crazy!!! Ford has like, a whole bunch of recalls going on this year already... 750k+ vehicles affected? That's wild! And not just one or two issues, but multiple problems all at once. I'm low-key worried about those people who own these cars... what if they can't afford to fix the steering problem or the seatbelt issue?! πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Ford needs to get it together and make sure these vehicles are safe to drive! πŸ’―

Ugh, just another day, another car recall πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ... I mean, what's up with Ford? They're basically telling their owners to just update some software and all is good πŸ˜’. And this isn't even the first time they've had issues with their rearview camera system - like, how many times can you mess something that crucial before fixing it for real? πŸ€”

And then there's the steering issue... a loss of control while driving? That's just scary stuff 😨. I'm surprised they're not recalling more models than this. The fact that owners have to wait till December 2025 for a fix is like, what are they even doing in the meantime? πŸ•°οΈ

Seatbelts too? Corroded cables can break and cause injury... yeah, no thanks 🚫. I hope Ford gets it together soon and fixes these issues properly. Until then, I'll be over here with my trusty old reliable car that doesn't have all these fancy tech problems 😊.

πŸš—πŸ’‘ So many recalls, right? At first, it can seem like bad news and a hassle for everyone involved. But let's look at this from a different angle... What if we all took the responsibility to check our own vehicles regularly, rather than just waiting for someone else to fix the problem? It's not just about Ford, it's about being proactive with our own safety and the safety of those around us πŸš—πŸ’ͺ. We need to take ownership of our lives, just like we would take care of our trusty ride 😊. And hey, at least they're offering free fixes, right? πŸ’Έ
