omg u cant even... how r these people still gettin away w/ this? 150+ law enforcement agencies workin togethr to bust chinese organized crime networks & they find out its been goin on in illicit massage parlors all over the us? like, what r we even doin wrong?!
i gotta give props to the austin police department tho, dey hav a real victim-centered approach. havin on-site counselors 2 help ppl rebuild their lives after gettin exploited is literally life.changin. & btw, its not just chinese org cuz its happenin in other places too... we need 2 do better, period.
anywayz, i heard the safe house project helped over 1,500 victims last yr & dey r on track 2 serve 3k this yr thats a whole lotta ppl w/ broken lives... lets hope we can make a diff
think this is just the tip of the iceberg, all these chinese organized crime networks are probably into other stuff too like cybercrime or money laundering... and what about the victims who get 'rescued' and then struggle to find jobs or live normal lives again? also, can't help but wonder if some law enforcement agencies are more focused on collecting bust numbers than actually helping the real victims
OMG just saw this news about the nationwide human trafficking bust targeting Chinese organized crime networks... it's like, totally heartbreaking what these poor women had to go through I'm so glad law enforcement is finally taking action and making some real changes ️. It's crazy that half of all law enforcement agencies are focusing on the illicit massage industry - like, how did this become such a big problem in the first place? Anyway, it's awesome to see organizations like The Safe House Project stepping up to help victims rebuild their lives . We need more people doing what they're doing!
just heard about this massive human trafficking bust across the US it's crazy to think that over 150 law enforcement agencies came together to take down chinese organized crime networks targeting vulnerable people, especially minors like the 14-year-old girl who was trafficked through escort sites ugh it's heartbreaking to see what these poor women must have gone through
anyway, this operation is a huge win for law enforcement and organizations like the Safe House Project that are working tirelessly to support victims of human trafficking i'm so proud of the Austin Police Department for taking a victim-centered approach and providing on-site counseling services it's clear that we need more efforts like this to combat exploitation
Wow! These Chinese organized crime networks are so sneaky, using fake massage parlors as a front for human trafficking. It's crazy how one young girl was forced into this, just 14 years old and having to service over 10 men daily . The fact that the police were able to raid these places and arrest so many people is super cool! I'm glad that organizations like Safe House Project are helping victims rebuild their lives . This operation was a huge success, but we need to keep working to stop human trafficking in America .
