This whole thing got me thinking... what is it about sex and power that's so complicated?

I mean, Marlene Schiappa's a Minister for women's rights, but she still manages to get on the cover of Playboy. It's like her body is a puzzle piece that can't be ignored, no matter how hard we try to fit it into our societal boxes.
I'm curious about why some of her own party members are suddenly outraged by this?

Are they more concerned with appearances than actual values? And what does Jean Luc Mélenchon's tweet really reveal about his character? Is he just trying to stir up drama or is there something deeper going on?
It's interesting how the PM and Interior Minister come out in support of Schiappa, but only because it's convenient for them politically.

Are we expecting too much from our leaders when it comes to setting a good example? The fact that they're more worried about their own image than Schiappa's is telling.
Ultimately, this whole thing feels like a microcosm of our society's ongoing struggle with feminism and body autonomy. We need to have these conversations, but we also need to be willing to confront the uncomfortable truths within ourselves.
