"Former US Vice President Kamala Harris has expressed regret over not speaking up about her concerns regarding Joe Biden's health during his re-election bid. In a recent interview with the BBC, she revealed that she did not discuss her worries with President Biden or raise them in a conversation with him.
Harris wrote in her book '107 Days' that Biden's decision to run for re-election should not have been left up to individual ego and ambition. She now questions whether she should have had a conversation with him about his suitability to continue serving as president, citing concerns over his ability to meet the demands of an election campaign.
The former vice-president acknowledged that running against Donald Trump would be even more demanding than typical presidential elections, given the level of endurance and energy required. Harris expressed her concern that Biden's health was a critical factor in deciding whether he should run again, but noted that addressing these concerns could have been tricky due to fear of being perceived as promoting self-interest.
In the interview, Harris stated she ponders whether she acted with grace or recklessness by not speaking up about her concerns. She also emphasized the importance of Biden's physical and mental capacity in carrying out his duties as president. Despite this, Harris left open the possibility that she may run for the White House again in the future."

Kamala should've spoke up back then, her health concerns were valid
Kamala should've spoke up back then, her health concerns were valid I mean, if you're worried about someone's fitness to lead, it's not something to just keep quiet about. It's not like she was asking for a recount or anything

... I mean, I get it, addressing those concerns could've been super tricky, but at the same time, she was his VP for crying out loud! You'd think she'd want to make sure he wasn't gonna keel over on stage mid-speech

You'd think she'd want to make sure he wasn't gonna keel over on stage mid-speech ... now that she's airing these feelings, I'm curious if she'll actually follow through on running again in the future? And what about the whole "grace or recklessness" thing - sounds like a bit of an existential crisis to me

now that she's reflecting on it, maybe she was too worried about being seen as playing politics instead of putting country first.

. It's understandable that she might've worried about being perceived as self-serving if she did bring it up, but you'd think with her experience in the White House, she'd know how to approach it tactfully
