Border Patrol Czar Tom Homan announced on Friday that approximately 700 federal law enforcement personnel are being pulled out of Minnesota. The decision was made by the US Customs and Border Protection agency as part of an effort to maintain public safety in the region.
Homan stated, "The draw down is a necessary measure to ensure that our agents can focus on keeping our communities safe." He also emphasized that this move does not indicate any changes in border security efforts but rather a temporary reallocation of resources to address local crime concerns.
