HSBC’s top execs face tense shareholders calling for a breakup | CNN Business

😔 I feel for those shareholders who are really struggling with not getting their regular dividend payments anymore... 💸 It's like they're being left hanging out to dry. 🤕 And now, with this whole debate about breaking up HSBC's Asian business, it's just adding more stress to the situation. 🌪️ I can imagine how frustrating it must be to see others getting all the attention and benefits while you're just trying to make ends meet. 💔 It's like, what even is the point of having a bank if they're not going to take care of their own customers? 😤

omg can't believe hsbc is still dragging its asian biz down 😩! i mean i get it they wanna make that region profitable but come on 500 shareholders affected by the div payout scrapped in 2020 already 🤑😡 ken lui's campaign is fire 🔥 we need more pressure on them to reorganize or spin off that division ASAP 💸 ping an china's largest insurer backing him up too? now that's some serious momentum 🚀 gotta keep an eye on this one, it could get super interesting at the may annual gen meeting 💬

I gotta say, I'm so worried about these shareholders who are affected by HSBC's decision to scrap their dividend payout 🤕. My aunt has a friend who relies on those payouts and it's been super tough for her family. And can you believe Ping An is backing calls for the bank to rethink its structure? Like, I get it, profits are down and all, but does anyone think about the people who are affected by these decisions? 🤷‍♀️ My ex-boyfriend's brother owns some shares and he's been freaking out because of Ken Lui's campaign 💸. I mean, 75% vote to pass is a lot, but if it means the bank can get back on track, I'm down for it 😊. And what about due diligence? Like, didn't they do any checks on SVB UK's customers before making that acquisition? 🤔 My cousin works in finance and she's always telling me to be careful with my investments... maybe this is why 🤑.

omg i dont think breaking up hsbc is the answer 🤔 they gotta find a way to make their asian biz work better 4 the rest of the world not just the shareholders who got screwed over by that dividend cut 🤑 idk what's gonna happen at the annual meeting but hopefully some sense will prevail 💯
