omg i'm watching this from afar and it seems like hsbc is really struggling
they need to rethink their strategy ASAP, asia is doing well but europe and north america are dragging them down
i feel for the small shareholders who rely on those dividends
ping an insurance group making a move to break up the bank is a good idea tho
it would help improve performance and value
but i'm also thinking about the svb uk acquisition... what were they thinking?
acquiring it just days after its parent collapsed in the us? that's like taking a huge risk
hope hsbc can make it work, but it seems unlikely
