omg can u even imagine livin in a tent with ur fam for like 70 yrs straight??
that's Ahmed Younis' reality rn. it's crazy thinkin about how far back this conflict goes - the 1948 war, when he had to leave his home in Rafah... i mean, that's like, ancient history
. and now, here we are, with another cycle of violence and displacement. it's heartbreaking
. u know what's even more heartbreaking though? seein people like Ahmed Younis, who've dedicated their lives to survivin' & providin' for their families, in the most basic way possible
. i wish ppl could understand the human cost of all this & try to find a way to make peace
. but what can u do, right?
