I'm not surprised by this ICJ ruling ... I mean, it's been a thing for ages - how can you starve people and call it warfare? It's like they think they're above human rights laws or something. I remember when Egypt blocked the Gaza border in 2018, and everyone was all like "oh no, humanitarian crisis"... but now Israel's just like "whatever, we'll just blockade them too". And don't even get me started on UNRWA ... if they're a threat to national security, why do they need aid? It's all so messed up. I feel bad for the Palestinians, man ... have you seen those pictures of the living conditions in Gaza lately?
can we really say israel's actions are just "starvation" tactics or is it more like they're trying to control the flow of resources and limit the population's ability to resist? i mean, doesn't that sound a bit like a classic case of collective punishment?
and what about Hamas' role in all this? we're always told they're the bad guys, but isn't it also true that they've been using tunnels and smuggling routes to get supplies into gaza? shouldn't we be looking at both sides here and not just picking a winner?
the icj ruling is definitely a big deal, but let's not forget that it's still a court of law and its decision might not necessarily reflect the full picture. we need to keep an open mind and consider all the factors involved before jumping to conclusions
idk about this icj ruling... sounds like more propaganda against israel to me i mean, starvation tactics? isn't that just war? don't get me wrong, poor ppl in gaza need help but do we really have to label israel's actions as "starvation"? where's the evidence for this claim? where's the proof that israel is intentionally starving ppl? seems like a pretty big leap to me
and what's with the unrwra thing? israel really banning a charity org? how does that even work? and why is the icj siding so heavily against israel on this one? it seems biased to me
I'm not surprised about this ICJ ruling . I mean, it feels like another thing for people in power to label Israel as 'aggressive' and 'problematic', just so they can keep talking about how 'complex' the situation is. Meanwhile, we're still dealing with actual human suffering here... people are literally starving because of Israel's blockade on Gaza . Can't we just talk about this stuff without all the labels and accusations? It feels like the world has lost its way when it comes to actually addressing real issues like poverty and hunger.
And what's up with the international community not taking action to stop this collective punishment? The ICJ is right, of course – Israel needs to provide basic necessities for its population. But where are the actual consequences for their actions? I'm still waiting for some concrete solutions...
