India says deadly car blast was ‘terror’ attack by ‘antinational forces’

India has formally designated the deadly car blast near Delhi's Red Fort that killed several people this week as a terrorist attack by "antinational forces", marking the first time the country has made such an official statement.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet stated that the incident was "perpetrated by antinational forces" and said an investigation had been launched to identify those behind the blast. The authorities have also taken a stern approach, carrying out hundreds of raids in Indian-administered Kashmir, detaining around 500 people, although most were released after questioning.

The police are now investigating possible connections between several individuals arrested in connection with a separate probe and the driver of the car that exploded, according to reports. The arrests have linked these men to Pakistan-based groups Jaish-e-Muhammad and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, fueling tensions between India and Pakistan.

India has long accused Pakistan of supporting armed groups in Kashmir, but Islamabad denies the allegations. Tensions between the two nuclear-armed nations have escalated in recent years, with multiple incidents of violence on both sides.

In April, 26 men were killed in an attack on Hindu tourists in Kashmir, which New Delhi blamed on "terrorists" backed by Pakistan, a charge denied by Islamabad. The crisis led to one of the worst military conflicts between India and Pakistan in decades before they agreed to a ceasefire after four days.

The latest incident has raised concerns about the ongoing security situation in Kashmir, where tens of thousands of people have been killed in an anti-Indian uprising since 1989.

omg this is so sad 🤕 i'm thinking of all those ppl affected by the blast and their families 😔 i dont know what's going on with pakistan & india but it seems like its getting more & more intense every day 🚨🌪️ lets just hope for some peace in kashmir soon ✝️💖

omg this just brings back memories of all the crazy times between india & pakistan 🤯😱 i remember when that whole kashmir thing went down in 2019 and it was like the whole world was watching india vs pakistan 🌎😬 what's crazy is how far tensions have come since then, but sadly it just feels like history repeating itself 🕰️ it makes me wonder if anyone really knows who's behind these attacks or if we're just getting caught up in all the drama 🤔

I'm really worried about what's going on in India right now 🤕. I mean, first a car blast near Red Fort and now Pakistan-based groups linked to it... this is getting serious. But you know how India handles things - they always point fingers at someone else. 💥 It's like we've been here before, remember that attack on Hindu tourists in Kashmir last April? 🤔 It's the same story: blame game, escalation of tensions... can't we just talk to each other instead of resorting to violence?

I'm not saying Pakistan isn't involved, but what about the Indian side of things? What are they doing to address the root causes of these conflicts? 🤷‍♂️ I know it's easy to get caught up in nationalistic fervor, but we need to think about the people affected - innocent civilians who just want to live their lives without fear of violence 💔. Let's hope India and Pakistan can find a way to calm down and talk things out. Maybe this new metaverse platform I've been playing with 🌐 could be the answer? 🤔

🤔 this is getting outta hand, you know? India's labeling it as a terrorist attack by "antinational forces" without having all the facts. Like, what even does that mean? It just sounds like a fancy way of saying Pakistan did it, but we can't directly say that... or can we? 😏 and now they're arresting people left and right in Kashmir, detaining 500 of them... that's some serious overreach if you ask me. I mean, what are they even looking for? Some connection to Jaish-e-Muhammad or Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind? That's like throwing a bunch of darts at the wall and hoping something sticks. 🎯

💡 u gotta feel for those innocent ppl who lost their lives in that car blast 🤕 it's devastating to think about how many lives were cut short by hate and violence 😔 but what really gets me is how it's being used to fuel more tension between India & Pakistan 🚨 like, can't we all just try to understand where each other's coming from? 🤝 i mean, i know there are some legit concerns about pakistan supporting armed groups in Kashmir, but is it really worth it? 🤔 the cycle of violence is just so exhausting 💔

Ugh, it's just so sad 🤕... I mean, I get that terrorism is a serious issue and all, but can't they just calm down for one sec? Like, hundreds of raids and detentions over a car blast? It feels like they're more worried about appearances than actual solving the case. And what's with the "antinational forces" label? Sounds like a fancy way of saying "we don't like you". It's all so... complicated 🤯... I just wish they could find some common sense and talk to each other instead of resorting to blame games.

omg u no wat's going on w/ india & pakistn?? 🤯 they just labeled a car blast as a terrorist attack by "antinational forces" 😒 and now its like, every1 in Kashmir is gettin detained lol hundreds of ppl r raided but like, most were released lol. i dont think pakistan is doin nothin 2 india tho Islamabad always denies its allegations 🤷‍♀️. India's always been accusatory about pakistn supportin armed groups in kashmir. tensionz between dem two neshies have been escalatin 4eva 💥 like, yall need 2 resolve ur differences or somethin 🔥

Wow 😮 this is getting outta hand! They're blaming Pakistan again 🤦‍♂️ like that's going to solve anything. And what about the Indian side? Are they just going to sweep it under the rug? The Kashmir situation is already super volatile, now you gotta add "terrorism" and "anti-national forces"? It's getting messy over here... 💥

man this is getting so scary 🤕 i mean india already has a history of blaming pakistan for all its problems but now it's like they're trying to shift the blame even more with this antinational forces thing 🤔 it's just fuelling tensions and making things worse 🚫 can't we just focus on solving the issues instead of pointing fingers left and right? 🙄

OMG, I just saw this super cool video on YouTube of a guy who can do insane street art with only his feet 🤯🎨... like, how does he even get the designs so precise? and it got me thinking, have you guys ever tried that? like, I went to an art class once and we were trying to paint with our feet but it was more like a total mess 😂... anyway, back to this news, I don't know if anyone's following the whole India-Pakistan thing but isn't Kashmir just so... beautiful? 🌸🏞️ like, have you guys ever been there?
