Is the US unlocking Venezuela’s oil wealth or exploiting it?

I'm not buying it 🤔... like, come on guys, this just sounds like a fancy way of saying "we're gonna make a profit off Venezuela's resources" 💸. I mean, can't we just let them run their own country and make their own decisions about their own economy? It feels like the US is trying to control everything from the top down 🚨.

And what even is this "modern-day colonialism" thing? Is it really that simple? 😕 We're talking about billions of dollars and oil reserves here, not some quaint little colonial-era power play. Can't we have a nuanced discussion about this instead of just labeling it as colonialism? 💡

I'm also worried about the long-term implications of this move 🤯... if the US starts controlling Venezuela's oil revenue, what's to stop them from doing the same with other countries' resources? It feels like a slippery slope towards some kind of global economic dominance 🌎.

Anyway, I just want to see how this all plays out and how it affects the Venezuelan people 👥. They deserve better than to be pawns in some kind of economic game 🤑.

🤬 this is straight up colonialism fam they're basically saying venezuela can't take care of its own economy so they're just gonna swoop in and control everything meanwhile the us is still trying to fix its own messes like iran's economic crisis is a real thing right now 🤯 how about we focus on helping each other out instead of taking advantage of weaker countries? 💸
