In a devastating attack, Israeli forces have killed 11 members of a Palestinian family in Gaza's Zeitoun neighborhood, the deadliest single breach of the fragile ceasefire since it took effect eight days ago. The brutal killing occurred on Friday evening when an Israeli tank shell struck a civilian vehicle carrying the Abu Shaaban family.

Seven children and three women were among those killed in the attack, according to Gaza's civil defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal. Basal condemned the incident, stating that "what happened confirms that the occupation is still thirsty for blood, and insists on committing crimes against innocent civilians." The attack highlights the dire situation in Gaza, where many Palestinians lack access to reliable information due to limited internet connectivity.

The Israeli military has claimed that the yellow lines marking the ceasefire zones will be clearly marked soon. However, this does little to alleviate concerns about the ongoing occupation of approximately 53% of Gaza by Israel. According to Al Jazeera's reporting, Israeli forces continue to control key areas and restrict aid deliveries, including food and medical supplies.

In the past week alone, at least five Palestinians have been killed in Gaza City, with Israeli forces also restricting access to the Rafah crossing with Egypt. The United Nations has warned of widespread malnutrition and famine in the enclave, with 49% of people accessing less than six liters of drinking water per day.

Hamas has condemned the attack as a "massacre" and called for international pressure on Israel to respect the ceasefire agreement. The group has also continued to push for the release of Israeli captives, despite limited excavating machinery and cooperation from Israel.

The ongoing crisis in Gaza serves as a stark reminder of the need for humanitarian aid and an end to the violence. As Al Jazeera's reporting highlights, the situation on the ground is dire, with many families struggling to access basic necessities due to the restrictions imposed by Israeli forces.

🤕 The situation in Gaza is absolutely heartbreaking... 11 innocent lives lost in a single attack? 🌪️ It's just too much. The fact that many Palestinians are still stuck in the dark ages of internet connectivity, unable to access reliable info, is heartbreaking. And now this latest attack has confirmed our worst fears - Israel is thirsty for blood and will stop at nothing to continue its occupation.

The Israeli military's plans to clearly mark ceasefire zones might sound like a good intention, but it's just a band-aid on a much deeper wound. The fact that 53% of Gaza is occupied by Israel, with key areas still under their control, is a clear indication of the power imbalance at play here. 🚫

The UN's warnings about widespread malnutrition and famine are devastatingly real. It's not just the loss of life, but also the suffering of families who can't access basic necessities like clean water and food. I hope international pressure on Israel will lead to some form of change, but it's hard to see a light at the end of this tunnel... 😔

my heart just broke reading about that attack 🤕 it's just so senseless & heartbreaking 11 innocent lives lost...can't even imagine how devastating this must be for the Abu Shaaban family & their community 🌎 7 kids, 3 women...who suffers like this? 🤣 what are we doing to stop these senseless attacks on civilians?! 💔

My heart just sank when I read about that devastating attack in Gaza 🤕. I can only imagine how traumatic it must be for the Abu Shaaban family and their loved ones. It's just heartbreaking to think about all those innocent lives lost, especially the 7 kids who were with them. 😔

I'm so frustrated with the ongoing occupation of Gaza - it's like Israel is perpetually stuck in a cycle of violence and retaliation, never wanting to let go. And what really gets me is that most Palestinians don't even have access to reliable internet or info, making it super hard for them to stay informed and advocate for themselves. 📱

The UN warning about malnutrition and famine is just devastating - can we really afford not to do something about this? I wish world leaders would put more pressure on Israel to respect the ceasefire agreement and end this occupation ASAP! 🤝

😒 I mean, what's up with these ceasefires? Can't even get a break from each other... 11 people dead and no one gets to say "oops" 🙅‍♂️. Like, who needs clear yellow lines when you're just gonna tank shell civilians anyway? 💥 And yeah, the whole Gaza thing is a real mess. Limited internet = no info = no sanity 😴. We should be over here like "Hey Israel, how's that occupation going?" 🤷‍♂️

🤕 this is so heartbreaking... 11 innocent lives lost, including 7 kids who can never meet their siblings or celebrate birthdays with them again. 🎂😢 what's the point of these yellow lines if they're just gonna bomb civilians anyway? 🚫👊 can't we just talk to each other without all this violence? 💬 it's not like it's rocket science...

💔 this is just heartbreaking another family wiped out in one go its like israeli forces really have no regard for human life whatsoever 🙅‍♂️ the lack of reliable info in gaza makes it so hard for ppl to access basic info let alone humanitarian aid what can we do to put an end to this cycle of violence & suffering? the ceasefire agreement should be respected not just marked on maps 💪
