Israel receives body Hamas says is Gaza hostage

Hamas has delivered a body it claims is one of its hostages, which Israel says was handed over to them by the Red Cross. The Israeli military had been demanding the return of all the deceased hostages under a ceasefire deal brokered by the US.

The body was transported from Gaza and returned to Israel for formal identification. This move comes after Hamas has handed over 20 living hostages and 12 out of 28 deceased hostages in accordance with the agreement. However, the Israeli military claims that Hamas still owes it all of the bodies of its captives.

Despite the progress made under the ceasefire deal, which has also seen Israel release 250 Palestinian prisoners and 1,718 detainees from Gaza, deadly violence flared up on Sunday as both sides accused each other of breaching the agreement.

omg just heard about this - it's so heartbreaking to think about all these people caught in the middle ๐Ÿค•๐Ÿ˜” i feel like we're getting closer to peace but then there are still moments of violence and uncertainty...anyway, gotta give credit to Hamas for following through on their end of the deal, 20 living hostages is a big step forward! ๐Ÿ’ช and yeah, Israel's demand for all the bodies is a tough one, can you imagine how difficult it must be for those families to get closure ๐Ÿค— still, it's great that there's been progress - those 250 prisoners released is huge! ๐Ÿ™Œ let's keep crossing our fingers for peace in the Middle East โœจ

just wondering why israel being so uptight about this? they just get their people back, but now they're still holding onto all those bodies... it's like they think they can use these hostages to hold Hamas hostage again ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’€ what's the point of releasing 250 prisoners only to have violence break out again? feels like a cycle that's hard to break ๐Ÿ’”

just heard about this whole thing ๐Ÿคฏ and gotta say, i think it's super sus that israel's demanding all those bodies back ๐Ÿ™„ like, what's the point in holding onto dead people? it just feels like a power play to me ๐Ÿ’ช especially after they released 250 pali prisoners ๐Ÿšซ meanwhile, i'm glad hamas was able to give up some of their captives ๐Ÿ‘Š and now we're seeing a bit of progress ๐ŸŒˆ but at the same time, this whole thing is still super volatile ๐Ÿ”ฅ gotta keep an eye on it ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿšจ Come on, this is a total joke! The US thinks they can broker a peace deal like this? It's just a bunch of hostages being used as pawns in a much bigger game ๐Ÿค‘. I mean, 20 living hostages handed over and now this... it's just not adding up ๐Ÿ’ธ. And what about the bodies? Israel's still saying Hamas owes them all the dead guys ๐Ÿ‘ป? Give me a break! It's like they're trying to stir up more chaos than actually make peace ๐Ÿคฏ.

๐Ÿค” I'm still trying to wrap my head around this situation. Like, I get that there's been a truce and all, but it seems like we're taking two steps forward and three back at the same time? ๐Ÿ™ƒ First, Hamas hands over some of their hostages and gets credit for it, which is good, right? But then Israel is still like "we want more" and now they've got a body to deal with. It's like, can't we just get along for once? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ And what's up with the Red Cross being involved in all this? Are they just getting caught in the middle? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I don't know about this whole thing... it just feels like another chapter in a never-ending saga that's been going on for ages ๐Ÿ˜•. I mean, we've seen this play out before, and we're still getting the same old results. One side thinks they've made progress, the other side is skeptical, and then violence erupts because someone can't agree on anything ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. It's like Groundhog Day up in here... Hamas delivers a body, Israel demands more, and suddenly everyone's expecting miracles ๐Ÿ’ซ. I'm all for peace and finding ways to move forward, but it feels like we're just going through the motions at this point โฐ. And what about those 12 bodies that were supposed to be handed over already? Where are they? ๐Ÿค”

I donโ€™t usually comment but I think itโ€™s kinda weird that Hamas is giving back some of its hostages even though they say all bodies belong to them ๐Ÿค”...I mean, what's going through their minds? It seems like they're trying to prove a point, but at the same time they're showing some humanity ๐Ÿ’€...the fact that there are still living hostages being freed and some deceased ones coming back is a good sign, I guess ๐Ÿ‘Œ. But the thing with Israel saying all bodies belong to them kinda makes me think Hamas has some unfinished business to deal with ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ...anyway, it's not like I have all the answers, but maybe this whole thing will get resolved eventually ๐Ÿ™

I'm really worried about what's happening in Gaza ๐Ÿค•. I mean, I get that there are two sides with different perspectives and all, but it feels like they're just stuck in this endless loop of violence. The fact that Hamas is giving back some of its hostages is a good start, but the Israelis still think they owe them all their bodies? It's like, what even is the point of giving them back if you don't trust that they'll be treated fairly?

And have you seen the numbers? 250 prisoners released from Gaza? That's huge! But at the same time, we're still seeing deadly violence on Sunday. It just feels like these agreements are just temporary fixes until something else comes along.

I wish people could just talk it out and find a way to live in peace ๐Ÿคž. The ceasefire deal is a good start, but it's not enough if they can't even trust each other to follow through. We need some real solutions here, not just Band-Aid fixes ๐Ÿค•.

I'm so worried about these hostages ๐Ÿค•... I mean, it's like they're being used as bargaining chips or something ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. The fact that Hamas is handing over living hostages and some dead ones too, seems reasonable enough, but Israel's still demanding all the bodies back? It's like, what more do you need? ๐Ÿค”

And then on top of this, there's these violent clashes between the two sides... it's just so sad ๐Ÿ˜ข. I feel like we're going in circles here. The ceasefire deal was supposed to be a step forward, but I guess that's not how it plays out sometimes ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ.

I hope they can find a way to work this out without anyone getting hurt ๐Ÿ’”. This whole situation is just so complex and frustrating ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. Can't we all just get along? ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿคฏ what's going on here?? so Hamas is just handing over bodies like they're nothing? I mean I get it, they've released some hostages and all but this whole thing feels super sketchy ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Israel's been saying they want those bodies back and now the Red Cross shows up and hands them over... sounds fishy to me ๐ŸŸ. And what about the 20 living hostages Hamas has already released? Don't they think that's a pretty big step? ๐Ÿค” I'm just not buying this whole thing. It feels like a game of cat and mouse with lives being used as pawns ๐Ÿ’€. Can we please just have some real peace talks around here?! ๐Ÿ’ฌ

can u believe this is happening again? i mean, i get it, hostages are traumatic & all that, but still... Hamas handing over a body without proper identification infront of red cross staff? Israel's gonna be like "nope, we need those bodies back" lol @ ceasefire deal. meanwhile, israel releasing prisoners & Gaza gets to breathe for now ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ 250 Palestinian prisoners released is a good start tho ๐Ÿ™ but what about the ones who died? still waiting on answers there... ๐Ÿค”

I'm low-key relieved that Hamas is finally handing over some of their hostages back to Israel ๐Ÿ™. I mean, it's been a long and brutal conflict, and every little step counts, right? But at the same time, it's crazy that there are still all these bodies that Israel says they're owed ๐Ÿ’€. Like, how can you just keep piling up all this grief like that? And yeah, I get that both sides have been making accusations, but come on, let's try to stay calm and work towards some peace, fam ๐Ÿ˜Œ.

I'm glad the US was able to broker a ceasefire deal, though โ€“ it's not like they haven't tried before ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And I mean, 250 Palestinian prisoners released from Gaza? That's some real progress ๐Ÿš€. But still, let's keep an eye on these dead bodies and make sure they get the respect they deserve ๐Ÿ’•.

๐Ÿค” The numbers are crazy fam... like Hamas handed over 20 living hostages ๐Ÿ™ and 12 dead ones ๐Ÿ‘ป under this ceasefire deal, that's still a long way to go for Israel ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ. And what's wild is that Israel thinks they owe them ALL the bodies of their captives ๐Ÿ’€, that's like saying every single one of those 20 living hostages were just ' bonus' victims ๐Ÿคฏ. The Red Cross gets credit for this though, at least it shows we can make progress on some fronts ๐Ÿ™. But here's the thing... violence is still happening ๐Ÿšจ, like every Sunday ๐Ÿ˜ณ. 250 Palestinian prisoners and 1,718 detainees released from Gaza is a huge win for peace ๐Ÿ‘, but if both sides are breaking the agreement left and right, what's the point of it all? ๐Ÿ’”

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole hostage situation thing ๐Ÿคฏ. On one hand, I feel like Hamas is making some major concessions by handing over 20 living hostages and 12 deceased ones, which shows they're willing to put humanity on the table ๐Ÿ’”. But at the same time, Israel's claims that Hamas still owes them all those bodies feels kinda fishy ๐ŸŸ. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's terrible that these people had to go through what they did, but can't we just focus on moving forward instead of dwelling on who owns whose dead body? It's like, can't we have a proper funeral or something without all the drama? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

I'm still confused about this whole hostage situation ๐Ÿค”. Like I got it, Hamas gives back some hostages, but then Israel is all mad because they think Hamas owes them more bodies ๐ŸฆŠ. But don't we already have a deal in place where Hamas agrees to give back the deceased ones? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ I mean, I'm glad 20 living hostages were released and all, but this whole thing with the dead ones is just messy ๐Ÿ’€.

And can someone explain why violence still broke out on Sunday? Like, wasn't there a ceasefire or something? ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ It's like both sides are just waiting for the other to mess up so they can jump in and start fighting again. Frustrating, you know? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ I wish we could all just get along and work towards peace, but it seems like that's not gonna happen anytime soon ๐Ÿคž.

I also think about those 250 Palestinian prisoners Israel released... did they even have a say in who got to go free or was it all decided by Israel? ๐Ÿค It's like, what's the point of releasing them if Hamas is just going to keep fighting? ๐Ÿ˜•

man this whole situation is so messed up ๐Ÿคฏ... like I get that Hamas was holding onto these hostages for years but now they're handing them over to Israel and everyone's all like "good job hamas" but what about the ones who died? it's just not fair ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Israel's right to be angry tho, they've been asking for those bodies back for ages and I feel like Hamas has finally made some progress but at the same time, this isn't a win for anyone. 20 living hostages handed over is one thing, but what about all the others who didn't make it? ๐Ÿค” and now there's deadly violence flaring up again... it just feels like we're stuck in this never-ending cycle of violence ๐Ÿ˜ฉ.

man i dont get why they cant just agree on everything it feels like its all gonna come crashing down again... so hamas hands over this body supposedly one of their hostages and islam says its a big step forward but israel's like nope we still want those bodies back and now theres more violence brewing i think its gonna take a lot more than this to keep the peace
