Israel says it will return to ceasefire after Gaza strikes

The Israeli military has announced that it will resume enforcing the ceasefire in Gaza after launching air strikes on Sunday, following what it described as a "blatant violation" of the deal by Hamas. The strikes came after Israeli troops were targeted by an anti-tank missile and gunfire in Rafah, killing two soldiers.

According to reports from Hamas, there had been no clashes in the area under Israeli control. However, Israel has accused Hamas's military wing of violating the ceasefire agreement.

Following the incident, US President Donald Trump said that he believed Hamas was behind the attack, but added that it may have been a "rebel" group within the armed organization.

Hamas has denied any involvement in the attack and warned that strikes could "push the situation towards a total collapse".

The ceasefire deal brokered by Trump had seen an immediate end to fighting, the partial withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, and an increase in aid. However, tensions have been high in recent days following fierce clashes between Hamas security forces and armed members of the Dughmush family in Gaza City.

The Israeli military has said it will continue to enforce the ceasefire and respond firmly to any violations. The announcement comes after a week of violence in Gaza, which has seen over 1,200 Palestinians killed and thousands more injured.

Hamas has released all living hostages and the remains of 12 out of 28 Palestinians who were being held by Israel have been returned. However, tensions remain high and the situation continues to be volatile.

It's crazy how quickly we can go from peace talks to war again 🀯. I think what's really gonna make this situation even more unstable is when people start making assumptions without all the facts. We see US President Trump jumping straight to blaming Hamas, but let's not forget that sometimes the truth gets lost in the noise. What if it was just a random attack by someone who didn't even know about the ceasefire deal? It's easy to get caught up in our own narratives, but we gotta stay vigilant and try to see all sides of the story πŸ€”.

We also need to talk about these families trapped in the middle - the Dughmushs. Their clashes with Hamas security forces don't make anyone look good, but can we really blame them for trying to protect their own people? This whole situation is a mess and it's gonna take more than just airstrikes to resolve anything πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.

.. this is so sad πŸ€• what's going on in Gaza? Two soldiers got killed and now there's gonna be more violence? It feels like no one's listening to each other anymore. I'm worried about all those innocent people caught in the middle... πŸ˜” they're just trying to live their lives, but it's like they're stuck in this never-ending cycle of violence. And what's with all these different claims and denials? It's so frustrating 🀯 Hamas says they didn't do it, Israel says they did... who knows the truth? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

what's going on in gaza?? 🀯😩 i feel like the ceasefire is never gonna hold anymore its like both sides are just playing a game of cat and mouse. doesnt it make sense for israel to talk to hamas instead of just launching air strikes? and whats up with trump saying he thinks it was a rebel group? does he even know what's going on over there? πŸ˜’πŸ€” anyway, i hope whoever is behind these attacks gets brought to justice but at the same time, lets not forget about all those innocent ppl who have lost their lives in this conflict πŸ’”πŸ™

omg u guys i cant even rn israel just resumed enforcing the ceasefire in gaza after launching air strikes 🀯 what a mess! i mean i get it they say hamas broke the deal but its not like anyone knows whats really goin on out there πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ and now the situation is literally volatile πŸ’₯ with over 1200 palestinians killed and thousands more injured...my heart is literally breakin 😭 i dont know what to believe anymore πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ and US president trump think hamas was behind it but he said maybe its a rebel group within hamas? idk whats goin on in that head πŸ’β€β™€οΈ

πŸ€” I don't think it's fair to just blame Hamas for everything that happens in Gaza. I mean, Israel is always talking about how they're trying to protect themselves, but sometimes you feel like they're using the ceasefire as an excuse to keep everyone on edge. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ The US president's comment about it possibly being a "rebel" group within Hamas makes sense to me - what if there are factions within Hamas that don't agree with the deal? We need more nuance in these conflicts, not just black and white statements. 🌐

🀯 this is so sad πŸ™. another week, more lives lost in this senseless conflict... 1,200+ people killed & thousands injured. can't we all just get along? 🌎 what's going on with these cycles of violence? Hamas says they didn't do anything but was labeled a violator anyway πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ meanwhile, Israel is saying they'll enforce the ceasefire & respond to any violations... seems like a never-ending cycle of retaliation. & what about all those living hostages being held? when will they be released safely? πŸ’” this whole situation just feels so frustrating πŸ™„

😑🀯 OMG what's going on in Gaza??!! Israel launches air strikes and now they're just gonna enforce this ceasefire like it's nothing?! πŸ™„ They say Hamas broke the deal but I mean what even is a "blatant violation" of some agreement that nobody really understands anyway? πŸ’”

And can we talk about Donald Trump for a sec? πŸ˜‚ US President thinks he knows more about Gaza than everyone else just because he brokered this ceasefire deal?! πŸ™„ Newsflash, Donnie: you don't own the Middle East! 🌏

Hamas is saying they had no clashes in that area but Israel's all like "nope, we know what we saw" and now they're gonna keep enforcing this ceasefire? πŸ€” Like, can we not just try to find peace here for once?! πŸ’• It's like, I get it, Gaza's a mess, but does everything have to be so dramatic?! 😩

omg this whole situation is so messed up πŸ€•!! i feel like both sides are just trying to blame each other for everything that's going on here. the ceasefire deal was supposed to bring some peace but it seems like everyone's just waiting for an excuse to go back at each other. i'm worried about all those innocent ppl who got caught in the middle of this violence 😭. and what's with these air strikes? are we really gonna keep repeating this cycle of violence? i want to see more ppl coming together to find a peaceful solution, like, anyone else? 🀞

🀞 I'm so tired of all this violence in Gaza... it's like, we just want peace, right? 🌎 But at the same time, I think it's crazy that the ceasefire deal had some major issues from the start. Like, who gets to enforce a deal, you know? It's not like Trump was exactly popular with everyone when he made this deal... πŸ˜’

But, on a more positive note, I'm glad Hamas released all those hostages! That's a huge step towards peace. And let's be real, the fact that Israel is going to enforce the ceasefire again means that someone's finally taking responsibility for their actions. πŸ’― Plus, it's good that we're learning from these conflicts so that we can prevent more in the future.

I know some people are saying that Hamas might've been behind the attack, but what if it was just a rogue group? πŸ€” We should be trying to find out who actually did this, not jumping to conclusions. The situation's still super volatile, but I'm holding onto hope that we can get to a better place soon... πŸ’•

πŸ€” I'm so worried about this whole situation in Gaza 🌊. It's like, can't we just get along? The US is trying to broker peace with Trump and all, but it feels like everyone's just looking for a reason to fight πŸ’£. Hamas says they're not behind the attack, but Israel thinks otherwise πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. And now the ceasefire is getting enforced again... I don't know what's gonna happen next 🀯. We need some calm and some understanding here 😌. This whole thing is just so tragic for all those innocent people caught in the middle πŸ’”.

I'm really worried about what's happening in Gaza πŸ€•. I mean, both sides are saying their own version of events and it's hard to know what's real. But at the same time, when two people start firing at each other, you can't just sit back and do nothing, right? The US had been trying to broker peace between Israel and Hamas for a while now, but I guess that wasn't enough.

I'm not sure why there has to be so much violence. Can't we all just try to get along and find some way to resolve our differences peacefully? 🀞 I mean, the ceasefire agreement was supposed to help people and give them more aid, but it seems like we're still stuck in this cycle of violence.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we need to keep trying to find a middle ground here. We can't just let things escalate any further. The fact that over 1,200 Palestinians have been killed already... it's just heartbreaking πŸ˜”.

man this is getting crazy 🀯 the ceasefire deal was supposed to bring some peace but now it's like everyone's just itching for a fight again 😩 i mean i get it both sides are upset but come on 1200 Palestinians killed already? that's just too much πŸ’€ and yeah US President Trump thinks it might've been a rebel group within Hamas but honestly nobody really knows what's going on in the ground there πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ anyway the Israeli military is gonna keep enforcing the ceasefire and responding to any violations, which i guess is fair play for them... still hope both sides can find some common ground tho πŸ’•

Man this whole thing is just so messed up πŸ€•... I don't know what's more concerning, the fact that Hamas denies any involvement in the attack or the fact that Trump thinks it might've been a "rebel" group within their own organization πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. It's like they're trying to spin this as something else just to avoid taking responsibility for their own actions.

And can we talk about how both sides are just playing dirty? I mean, Israel says Hamas is violating the ceasefire and Hamas is saying it was a setup πŸ˜’. And then you got the US President weighing in with his two cents... it's like they're all just trying to stir up more chaos.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that this whole situation feels really precarious 🀯. Both sides are dug in, and we don't know when or if things will escalate again. It's not just about the Israelis and Hamas; it's also about us, as a global community 🌎... we're all affected by this violence.

I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that I have all the answers πŸ’... but one thing's for sure: we need to keep pushing for peace and understanding in this region. It's just not working like it's supposed to πŸ˜”.

Ugh, another bloody conflict in Gaza πŸ€•. I mean, come on, can't we just get along? The Israeli military is just going to keep enforcing that ceasefire and Hamas is still all like "nope, we're good". It's like they think the world owes them an explanation for every little thing πŸ˜’.

And don't even get me started on Trump's involvement. He thinks he can just broker a deal and then just forget about it? No thanks πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. The ceasefire agreement was basically a temporary truce, not some permanent solution to the conflict.

It's also pretty rich that Israel is accusing Hamas of violating the ceasefire when they're the ones who were in the middle of a huge fight with their own security forces 🀯. I mean, I guess that's just what happens when you've got a bunch of armed groups running around 🚫.

Anyway, it's all just more violence and suffering for innocent people πŸ™. Can't we find a way to talk things out instead of resorting to guns and bombs? 😩

I don't think it's just about who started the fight πŸ€”... Have you guys ever stopped to think about how hard it is for people on both sides to feel safe? For them to know that they can go to bed at night without worrying that their homes will be bombed or their families will be targeted? It sounds like a never-ending cycle of violence, but what if we looked at it from the other side too? What if we saw that these aren't just faceless soldiers and fighters, but human beings with families and friends who are scared and hurt?

It's easy to say 'Hamas is behind this' or 'Israel has every right to defend itself', but where does that leave us? Don't we want a way out of this cycle of violence for everyone involved? πŸ€—

Ugh, can't believe this is happening again 🀯😩. I mean, both sides are just stuck in this never-ending cycle of violence and it's heartbreaking for innocent people getting caught in the middle. Israel's actions feel so aggressive and it's like they're not even trying to understand Hamas's perspective at all. And what's with US President Trump saying that he thinks it was a "rebel" group? Like, who is he kidding? This is just more evidence of how chaotic and untrustworthy the situation is in Gaza.

It's so sad that this has been going on for years and we still can't seem to find a peaceful solution. The thought of 1,200 Palestinians killed and thousands more injured is just devastating πŸ€•. And what really gets me is that people are actually blaming Hamas for this, like they're not even taking responsibility for their own actions. It's like the world is just so numb to all this violence and suffering. Can't we do better than this? πŸ˜”

πŸ’₯ Just saw this news about Gaza 🌊 and I'm like totally shook 😱. Did you know that over 1,200 Palestinians have lost their lives in just ONE WEEK?! 🀯 It's insane! πŸ’€ The data is clear: the situation on the ground is super volatile πŸ”₯, with tensions running high since those clashes between Hamas security forces and the Dughmush family 🀝. And let's not forget, the US has already said it believes Hamas was behind that attack... but neither side seems to be listening πŸ˜•. The Israeli military just announced they're resuming enforcement of the ceasefire ⚠️, which basically means we're looking at another cycle of violence πŸ”΄. Have you seen the breakdown of how many hostages have been released? 12 out of 28 Palestinians have been returned πŸ™... still not enough πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. Can someone please just make peace happen?! 🌈

Ugh, this violence in Gaza is getting so out of hand πŸ€•. I mean, can't we all just get along? The Israeli military's decision to enforce the ceasefire again is a total bummer πŸ˜”. It feels like they're just trying to pin everything on Hamas and make it sound like they're the only ones with problems.

And what's up with the US President's comments? Believing that a rebel group within Hamas is responsible for the attack, but not actually knowing anything πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. That's just irresponsible leadership in my opinion. And now we have this whole situation spiraling out of control and innocent people getting hurt πŸ’”.

It's so frustrating to see all these powerful nations trying to play politics with lives 😩. Can't we just focus on finding peaceful solutions instead? The ceasefire deal was a good start, but it seems like that's being ignored right now 🚫.
