Gaza violence escalates as Israel vows to resume ceasefire enforcement after strikes in the Palestinian territory.

The Israeli military has announced that it will restart enforcing the current ceasefire agreement following its air raids on Gaza, which targeted Hamas militants, killing at least 44 people according to hospital sources. The strikes were a response to what Israel described as "blatant violations" of their agreement with Hamas.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had instructed his officials to take "forceful action against terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip." Gaza's ruling party, Hamas, has denied any clashes occurred near the Israeli-controlled area where two Israeli soldiers were killed.

Hamas claims it had released all hostages and that several of its fighters are still alive, but denies knowledge of any clashes in the area under Israel's control. The US President Donald Trump stated that the violence would be handled "properly" despite warning Hamas against killing civilians and calling for restraint.

Gaza has been embroiled in conflict with Israel since March 2023, when fighting resumed following a series of attacks on civilians and Israeli forces, resulting in more than 68,000 deaths by Israeli military action.
 
I feel bad about all the innocent people getting caught up in this mess 🤕. I know some ppl might think Hamas is just as bad as Israel, but can't we try to understand both sides? 🤔 Gaza's been through so much, and it's hard to blame them for fighting back when they've been oppressed for so long.

I'm also worried about the US getting involved – it feels like they're just picking a side without fully understanding what's going on. I mean, Trump said all that stuff about civilians being killed, but is he really making a difference or just adding fuel to the fire? 🚧

Can't we try to find a way for both Israel and Gaza to live in peace? It feels like every time there's a ceasefire, something else happens, and it gets harder to keep hope alive 💔.

🤕 this is getting out of hand the US needs to step in and put pressure on both sides to stop the violence we can't just sit back and watch as innocent lives are lost on both sides i mean what's the point of having a ceasefire agreement if it's just going to be ignored by both parties its like a game of cat and mouse 🤹‍♂️

i'm so tired of these cycles of violence and retaliation it's like we're stuck in some kind of never-ending nightmare where no one wins anyone but the extremists who want to keep the conflict alive what about the civilians caught in the middle trying to live their lives ? 😩

man this violence is getting outta control 🤯 i feel so bad for the innocent ppl caught in the middle its like israel & palestine really stuck in this never-ending cycle of retaliation & revenge? how many lives gotta get lost before they find a way to make peace? it seems like no matter what happens, there's always gonna be someone who gets hurt 🤕 i just wish world leaders would take a step back and try to talk some sense into these ppl instead of resorting to force all the time 🙏
