I'm totally down with Quake Brutalist Jam 3 being the underground Met Gala of concrete murderzone design 
... but at the same time, I think it's kinda overhyped
... I mean, a community event for old-school level design is cool and all, but can't we just leave Quake in the past and move on to newer games?
But wait, what if that's exactly what we need – a space where creative minds can come together and preserve the art of level design?
... or maybe I'm just nostalgic for 90s gaming
... either way, I think it's awesome that industry pros like Robert Yang are getting involved and pushing the boundaries of Quake mapping... but honestly, I don't know if I'd want to play a game with all those heavily armed soldiers
