I'm like totally shocked that Comey is trying to get out of this one, LOL! I mean, come on, dude, you were at the center of a major controversy with Trump and now you're claiming he's all vindictive and stuff? 
It's hard to take him seriously when he's just trying to shift the blame. His lawyers are gonna have to do some serious heavy lifting to prove that this wasn't just a normal case of selective prosecution, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm not surprised by this move from Comey's team... it feels like a classic move from the Nixon era where the President was trying to discredit his opponents by using the Justice Department as a tool for personal revenge. 
It's gonna be interesting to see how this unfolds, but if anyone can spin this into a conspiracy theory, it's gonna be Trump's lawyers!
