Former Yankees Top Prospect and Mariners Player Jesús Montero Dies at 35
Jesús Montero, a highly touted pitching prospect who never quite lived up to his full potential in the major leagues, has passed away at the age of 35. Montero was best known for his time with the New York Yankees, where he was once considered one of the top prospects in baseball.

Tragically, Montero's life was cut short in a motorcycle accident in Venezuela earlier this month. He was put into a coma and later died as a result of his injuries.
The Yankees organization has released a statement expressing their condolences to Montero's family and loved ones. "The Yankees are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jesús Montero," they said. "We send our sincerest condolences to his family & loved ones."

it's crazy thinkin bout how much potencial he had back in da day 
was supposed to be da next big thing in baseball 
but life had other plans 
his career was full of ups & downs, but ya can't take awa' da fact that he was only 35 when he left us

it's crazy how quickly it can all end like that. we should be celebrating his life, not mourning his passing 
and now he's gone too soon... I remember watching him play for the Yankees back in the day, had so much potential but just couldn't seem to put it all together
