I cant even imagine the amount of stress those poor pups must've went through - been separated from their fams & left to fend for themselves and it's not just the animals that suffered, the ecosystem as a whole was like "what do we do now?" it's heartbreaking to see all this destruction & devastation 1 year on & I'm still in shock , those 31 lives lost were never enough for me and I can only imagine how hard it must've been for the people who lost their homes & businesses
I'm literally shocked by how much the wildfires affected the animal kingdom in LA . I mean, we're lucky to have these amazing organizations like Pasadena Humane stepping up to help the pets and wildlife affected. But can we talk about the housing situation for a sec? Like, thousands of homes were destroyed... what's gonna happen to all those people now? It's not just about the animals, you feel me? The human impact is real too
Man I'm still trying to wrap my head around the 2024 LA wildfires ... One year on and it's crazy how much the community came together to support the animals affected . As a pet lover, I know firsthand how traumatic this must be for them - the separation from their families, the loss of homes... it's just heartbreaking . The conservation aspect is also really worrying - I mean we're talking about years of recovery and whatnot . But you know, organizations like Pasadena Humane are doing some amazing work to provide care and support... they're like the real MVPs . It's definitely going to take a long time for LA to bounce back from this, but I'm hopeful that we can learn from it and become an even more compassionate city .
I'm so sorry to hear that it's been a year since those devastating wildfires hit LA . It's heartbreaking to think about all the animals who were left behind, struggling to survive without their families . The fact that thousands of homes and businesses were destroyed is already a tragedy in itself, but the impact on the wildlife and pets is just devastating . I can only imagine how tough it must be for people like Chris Ramon at Pasadena Humane to deal with all these traumatized animals . The good news is that they're doing everything they can to provide care and support, but yeah, it's a really daunting task .
omg yaaas its been like 1 yr since those wildfires hit LA & i cant even believe how much damage they did 31 ppl lost their lives & thousands of homes/businesses went up in flames, but like whats really sad is all the poor animals that got affected those pets were literally left behind by their owners & now theyre struggling with behavioral issues & stress anxiety
i mean i feel bad for Pasadena Humane having to take care of all these traumatized animals, they must be doing everything they can 2 provide them w/ a safe space & support but it is a tough task. & dont even get me started on the wildlife its like the ecosystem is still recovering from that massive blow i hope it takes yrs 4 them 2 b back 2 normal
I'm still trying to wrap my head around how devastating those wildfires were in LA... 1 year on and it's still affecting so many lives, including our furry friends who suffered the most. It's crazy to think that thousands of homes & businesses got destroyed but honestly, the pets are still struggling to cope with all this trauma...
