I gotta say, I'm loving this convo between Michael Phelps and the other sports icons 
. It's dope to see someone from a different sport totally getting it right about MJ's greatness 
. I mean, for Phelps to be inspired by Jordan's work ethic and dedication is no joke - that's some next level motivation

still gotta say it though... what's with people always havin' to choose between these legends? like, can't we just appreciate greatness when it comes around? 
Phelps makes this point, and I'm like, yeah, Jordan was the real deal, but LeBron's been holdin' it down for years too. And don't even get me started on how many records are gonna be broken once the NBA season gets into full swing... it's all just a reminder that there's no such thing as true "greatness" 
Like I know we've been talking about MJ vs LBJ for ages but honestly now I'm 100% convinced that MJ IS THE GOAT 
I mean come on, the dude won SIX championships and was basically unbeatable on his best years! And Phelps is right, he's the one who inspired him to be as dedicated and disciplined in swimming as he was in training.

anyway, back to Phelps saying he couldn't measure up to Jordan's achievements - like, no way is that even possible! The dude won more medals than I've had hot dinners 
like what's the point of playing a game where you're supposed to score points but nobody really gets paid enough 
and michael phelps just said michael jordan is the best which makes sense i guess since he's like a legend or something 
. But what's crazy is that I never thought about comparing him to other greats like LeBron or Kobe, I mean they're all legends in their own right
