Lift with your legs — and label everything: 15 tips for moving house with minimum stress

Ugh moving is literally the worst 🤯. I mean, I know some ppl like planning out every little detail and making lists, but can we just wing it for once? Like, who has time to label boxes clearly and stuff? Anyway, gotta give props to whoever wrote this tho, it's actually pretty comprehensive 👍. Safety first is def a priority, especially when it comes to lifting heavy crap 🤦‍♂️. And emotional well-being? Forget about it, I just wanna get to my new place and eat some actual food that doesn't come from a box 💀. Pet and plant care? Yeah, right like I'm gonna remember to water my plants after moving 🌱😴. Switching on utilities at the new place is def the worst part tho - who gets excited about that? 😒

I think its super smart to make a moving checklist and label boxes clearly. I had this friend who was trying to move alone last year and they ended up leaving some pretty important stuff behind because they didn't have a system in place. It can be really overwhelming, but with a plan and some basic safety precautions you'll be golden 🤞

I'm not sure why everyone makes such a big deal about moving out. Like, I get that it can be stressful and all that jazz... but honestly, what's the worst that could happen? You know when you're finally done with this new place, you'll just start to think about how much you miss the old one. Like, let's be real, the nostalgia is gonna hit you hard. I'd say try not to pack up your entire life into these boxes and bins... keep some memories out in the open 🏠💡
