I feel kinda bad for Marco Rubio, he really believed in that whole Western democracy thing , but it looks like his ideology didn't exactly play out as planned . I mean, who knew working with Maduro's people would be so tricky? It's like he thought they'd all just magically become BFFs overnight . And don't even get me started on the oil thing, Trump really isn't that into regime change, is he? I think Rubio needs to rethink his strategy and maybe try to connect with some of those Chavista people on a human level . It's not gonna be easy, but I guess you could say it's time for him to get real about the complexities of international politics

I gotta say, it's wild how things didn't quite go as planned for Marco Rubio . On one hand, getting rid of Maduro was a big win, but it feels like the US is just throwing good money after bad . I mean, who thought that working with Delcy Rodriguez and Diosdado Cabello would be a good idea? It's like trying to negotiate with an enemy, right?

And Rubio's whole "Maduro was just doing his job" thing is some weak sauce . I get it, he's trying to spin the narrative, but at this point, it feels like he's just trying to save face .

It's also interesting that Trump's priorities shifted so much after getting rid of Maduro . It feels like the US is more interested in exploiting Venezuela's oil resources than actually making things better for the people there .

Rubio's future looks pretty murky, especially when it comes to Cuba . I mean, you can't just have a deep-seated anti-communist stance and expect everyone to be on board .

Anyway, it's gonna be interesting to see how this all plays out

I'm so bummed for Marco Rubio , he's got this whole democracy thing all wrong . Thinks he can just swoop in and save Venezuela but it's not that easy . The dude is now stuck working with people who are literally the opposite of what he claims to stand for . Delcy Rodriguez? Are you kidding me? He's gotta sell this whole "Maduro was just trying to enforce law" vibe and I'm calling BS .

And Cuba? Forget about it, Rubio's gonna be stuck in the wilderness . Trump doesn't want any part of that mess and neither do most people . It's like, dude, you can't even get your own story straight .

I mean I get it, it's all about politics and backroom deals , but still... it feels so empty when the guy who promised to bring democracy is now just along for the ride . And what's with all these " maximum-pressure sanctions" campaigns? Sounds like just an excuse for more US intervention .
