Melanie and Janet behind the beauty store counter: Victor Wedderburn's best photograph

This exhibit is so cool 🤩. I love how it shows the everyday life of the African-Caribbean community in Bradford back in the day. The pictures are so powerful and nostalgic 😔. It's amazing that Victor Wedderburn was able to capture such a special moment in history without even realizing it at the time. The fact that his photos have taken on new significance now is just incredible 🙌. I'm glad they're showcasing his work again, it's definitely worth checking out.

man these photos from victor wedderburn are literally transporting me back in time i mean i know he was born in jamaica but you can totally feel the britishness in his photography vibe especially those shots of the african-caribbean community in bradford its like they're speaking straight to your soul and i love how he captured these everyday moments that often get lost in history

i think its so cool how this exhibition is bringing new life to his work and introducing it to a whole new audience i mean 25 years ago he was sharing them on social media and people were responding but now hes getting the recognition he deserves and its amazing

also i have to say those ghetto blaster shots are everything 🤣 what a time capsule that is and i love how wedderburns photography is more than just a collection of pictures it's a window into his community's history and culture
