In a candid look back at the making of 1985's "Teen Wolf," Michael J. Fox has revealed that he felt deeply humiliated on set, describing himself as feeling like a "whore." The incident occurred when the prop guy asked him to pose with a chocolate bar covered in yak hair, which was used in the movie. When the actor expressed his discomfort, the prop guy responded with, "Well, you are a whore," Fox recalled.

The experience highlights the stark contrast between his more successful "Back to the Future" project, which he starred in just months prior. While "Teen Wolf" ultimately didn't become the cultural phenomenon that "Back to the Future" did, it has remained a beloved nostalgic film for many fans.

Fox's reflections on this period of his career demonstrate how Parkinson's disease continues to impact his life and work as an actor. Despite having managed the condition for over three decades now, he notes there is no clear timeline or set progression for the disease - a stark contrast to other conditions that follow predictable patterns.

In recent years, Fox has found new creative outlets in acting, with notable roles including Season 3 of Apple TV+ comedy "Shrinking." The character played by his co-star Harrison Ford suffers from Parkinson's and serves as an interesting perspective on this often-stigmatized condition.

omg u can imagine how hurtful that must've been for mjfox 🤕 like what kinda industry gets away with treating ppl like that? & its so cool that he found a way to channel that experience into his new role in "shrinking" - it's a great example of how actors can use their platforms to raise awareness about conditions people might be stigmatized for. btw, mjfox is an icon for more than just his acting skills 🙌

I feel like I've heard that story before... remember when Ashton Kutcher was in That '70s Show? It was all about the awkward moments, but it seemed so much more innocent back then 🤔. Anyway, Michael J. Fox's experience on set must have been super tough, especially considering he had just done Back to the Future a few months prior and it was a huge hit! I'm glad he's found new projects like Shrinking, though - at least he's getting to tackle complex characters and raise awareness about Parkinson's 🎬. It's crazy how some conditions are still so misunderstood... my grandma used to get migraines all the time when she was younger, and it seemed like they'd always come on for exactly one day a year... these days it seems like everyone's living with something 😕.

OMG, THIS STORY IS SO WILD!!! I cant even imagine how humiliated michael j fox must've felt back then 🤯🍫 it's crazy to think that just months prior he was killing it in "back to the future" and now this stuff is coming out 😳 but you know what's even crazier? How much we still dont understand about parkinsons disease 🤔 like michael j fox said, there's no clear timeline or progression for it which is SO NOT fair 💔 anyway, its great that he's found new creative outlets in acting and is helping to bring more awareness to the condition 🙌

Omg, that's so messed up 🤯 what kind of person says something like that to a colleague? It's crazy how some people can be so insensitive & hurtful in the workplace 💔 Michael J Fox has been through so much with his Parkinson's diagnosis already and this experience must've made things even harder for him 😓 but it's awesome that he's finding new creative outlets now like on Apple TV+ 🎬 I think it's really cool how he's using his platform to raise awareness about PD & show the world that people affected by it are still talented & deserving of respect 💪

OMG, that chocolate bar incident is SO disturbing 🤯 I'm like totally glad Michael J. Fox spoke out about it, you know? It's crazy how some people can be so harsh and thoughtless, especially when it comes to body image and mental health 💔. But at the same time, I love how he's still super open about his struggles with Parkinson's - it's like, we should all be more supportive and understanding towards each other 🤝. And I'm loving his new role in "Shrinking" - Harrison Ford as a character with Parkinson's? Genius! It's time for us to talk about this condition in a more nuanced way, you know? 💕

OMG u won't believe what michael j fox went thru on set of teen wolf 🤯 he felt SO humiliated when the prop guy asked him to pose with a chocolate bar covered in yak hair lol can u even imagine? and to make matters worse, the prop guy called him out as a "whore" 😱 like, no thanks fam. anyhoo, it's crazy how far fox has come from that low point & he's still killing it on tv now 📺 i'm loving his role in shrinking btw 🤪

omg can you believe michael j fox went through that on set 🤯 it's wild how much he had to deal with, especially when compared to the success of back to the future 🚗. it's not surprising he felt humiliated tho, being asked to pose with a prop covered in yak hair is just weird 🙅‍♂️. i love that he's still talking about his experiences and using them to raise awareness for parkinsons disease 💡 it's awesome that he's found new creative outlets too, like that role in shrinking 😊

ugh I cant even imagine being in that situation 😩, Michael J Fox is like the ultimate actor, one minute youre back to the future saving the world the next your posing with yak hair and feeling like a total schmuck 🤦‍♂️ its wild how he managed to bounce back from that experience and go on to do so many more iconic roles. i think its really cool that hes been using his platform to raise awareness about parkinsons disease, especially since theres still so much stigma around it 🙏. it just goes to show that even with a condition like parkinsons which can be unpredictable, you can still find new ways to create and inspire people 💡

OMG, I cant even imagine being in that situation!!! 🤯 The way the prop guy just went there with the yak hair chocolate bar thing is just SO ROLLING EYE 😂 But at the same time, its really sad to hear that michael j fox felt so humiliated on set. like, who does that?! 🙅‍♂️ anyway, its crazy how his career has turned out and how he's still dealing with parkinsons all these years later 🤕 i feel bad for him because, like, there is no clear timeline or progression for the disease? what a nightmare! 💀 but it sounds like hes found some great new outlets in acting and thats awesome! 🎉

ugh i cant even imagine how humiliated mjf must've felt 😱 that prop guy was so outta line 🤦‍♂️ but at the same time its crazy to think he had such a huge success just months prior like what changed in those few months? 🤔 anyway its wild to see how far weve come with understanding pd and reducing stigma around it 💖 its awesome that mjf is still pushing boundaries as an actor even with his diagnosis 🎬 i love how apple tv+ shows are tackling this stuff head-on, especially with ford playing a character w/pd, gives us a whole new perspective 📺

Ugh 😩 I'm literally still fuming about this... how could that prop guy be so brutal?! 🤯 Michael J Fox must've felt SO humiliated, posing with a chocolate bar covered in yak hair... like who even comes up with this stuff? 🙄 And to make matters worse, he says the prop guy called him a "whore" 🚫... can you believe it? 🤮 I'm all for people making fun of themselves, but that's just low. 💔

And on top of that, we learn about how his Parkinson's diagnosis has been affecting his life... like what even is the point of having a disease if there's no clear timeline or progression? 🤯 It's like, we get it, Michael J Fox has got this thing going on... but can't we just focus on being supportive and understanding?! 🙏

But you know what's been giving me hope lately? Seein' Michael J Fox killin' it in "Shrinking"! 🎬 His character is so raw and honest about his experiences with Parkinson's, it's like... finally, some real talk. 💯 And I love how Harrison Ford is playin' a similar role on the show too... it's all about breakin' stigmas and sparkin' conversations, you know? 💬

I feel so bad for Michael J Fox going through that on set 😔. It's like, you're already dealing with the pressure of being a teen heartthrob, and then someone slaps you with a yak hair-covered chocolate bar and makes a snide comment about your profession 🤦‍♂️. Can't imagine how hard it must've been for him to brush that off and still deliver a great performance in "Teen Wolf" 🎬.

It's also really interesting to see how Parkinson's disease has affected his career, especially now that he's speaking out more about it 📢. I think it's awesome that he's found new creative outlets like "Shrinking", and that Apple TV+ is using his experience as a way to raise awareness and promote understanding about the condition 💡. And Harrison Ford playing a character with Parkinson's? That's genius! 🙌

OMG, like, can you even imagine having to deal with that kind of negativity on set?! 🤯 I mean, Michael J Fox is a total icon and he's been through so much, especially with his Parkinson's diagnosis... it's crazy how unpredictable the disease is, right? 🤷‍♂️ One minute everything's fine, the next you're dealing with symptoms. Anyways, I love that he's still crushing it in Hollywood, even if it's not as "Back to the Future" days 😎. The fact that Harrison Ford's character in "Shrinking" is tackling Parkinson's is amazing, we need more representation and understanding of this condition. 🌈 Let's all just send MJ Fox some love and support, 'kay? 💖

can't believe michael j fox is still sharing this kinda stuff, feels like a whole different person back then 🤦‍♂️. and the prop guy was super clueless, who does that? yak hair covered in chocolate bar? sounds like a nightmare come true 🍫😷. but at least he came out of it with a great "back to the future" project and an iconic career 💥. hope he's found some peace with parkinson's, can relate to not having control over your own body sometimes 😔.

OMG u guys I'm literally shook 🤯 Michael J Fox is so brave to share this story after all these years he was humiliated on set with a prop that just felt so weird & uncomfortable 😳 especially since it's not even about his acting skills but more like how he was treated by the prop guy 🤷‍♂️ I feel bad for him, especially since his career was already taking off from "Back to the Future" and then this came out of nowhere 💔 on a positive note though, it's so great that he's still speaking out & using his platform to raise awareness about Parkinson's disease 🙏

omg i cant even believe michael j fox went thru that 😩💔 its crazy how ppl can be so mean to others esp when theyre tryna do their job like fox did in teen wolf anyway its awesome he's back and thriving now with projects like shrinking 🙌🏼🎬 and playing a character with parkinsons is a great way to raise awareness about it 🤝🏼💖 hope more ppl talk about the disease like that!

🙄 I mean, can you believe that prop guy was so rude to Michael J Fox? Like, what even is the deal with that? 🤔 The fact that he had to endure that kind of humiliation on set just months after "Back to the Future" took off is wild. And it's crazy how his life has been affected by Parkinson's all these years later. It's like, you'd think there would be some progress or something, but I guess not 🤷‍♂️. On a more positive note, it's great that he's found new creative outlets and is tackling this topic in his work, like with Harrison Ford's character in "Shrinking". Maybe it'll help raise awareness and reduce the stigma around Parkinson's 💡.

ugh poor michael j fox... i mean i feel bad for him, but like what was he expecting? a free pass to be objectified on set? 🙄 the whole yak hair thing sounds super creepy btw, glad he spoke out about it. and can we talk about how his career trajectory is just wild? from "teen wolf" to being a beloved nostalgic film guy to starring alongside harrison ford in apple tv+ 🤣 i'm curious though, how does his experience with parkinson's affect his perspective on stigmatization? hopefully he's using that platform to spread awareness and love 💖

🤕 I'm so sorry to hear that Michael J Fox went through that on set back in the day 🙈. It's crazy to think he was feeling like a "whore" because of a silly prop mishap 😳. Can you even imagine how tough it must've been for him, especially considering his success with "Back to the Future"? It just goes to show that Parkinson's can be unpredictable and super unfair 💔.

It's awesome that Fox has found new ways to express himself through acting, like on that Apple TV+ show 📺. And kudos to Harrison Ford for tackling a role that sheds light on this complex condition 👏. We need more representation and understanding of Parkinson's, so thanks to these talented folks for helping break down stigmas 💖.
