so this is what happens when you play hardball with China... I mean, I get it, national security and all that, but does that really justify a full-on probe? 
I'm more worried about Micron's revenue taking a hit than some Chinese authorities getting their knickers in a twist. And what about the bigger picture? Are we just gonna keep playing this game of tit-for-tat until something snaps? 
. China retaliating against the US for trying to limit their access to tech? Please, like it's going to magically solve anything. This just sets off a domino effect, where both sides start restricting each other's exports and innovation. It's gonna be a nightmare for companies like Micron who are trying to do business in China... and for consumers, I guess. Who knows how this is all gonna play out? The world's already complicated enough with global tensions and trade wars. Can't we just get along? 
This whole situation with Micron and China is getting super complicated. I mean, can't we just focus on making better chips without all the drama? It's like, both sides are trying to outsmart each other, but in the end, it's us (the consumers) who get stuck in the middle with rising prices and uncertainty about our tech supplies. I'm all for national security, but can't we find a way to balance that with fair trade practices? 
It feels like the US is trying to contain China's growth, but at what cost to its own economy? 
The more I think about it, the more I feel like this probe is just another example of how these two giants are going to keep bumping into each other in a very expensive game of cat and mouse.

i mean, they're already losing 4.4% of their stock price already? that's crazy but like, the thing is, china is just being super sensitive about all these tech export restrictions and now micron's in the crosshairs? i feel for them tbh... i've got some mates who work for micron and they're super worried about this but at the same time, like, micron should've seen this coming they did warn us in their filing lol just hope they can navigate this situation without losing too much to china anyway 
I'm getting anxious thinking about this... like what if it affects other companies too? And now I'm worried about my phone's battery life since they're a major memory chip maker
