. Can't believe we're still living in a world where people can just go around targeting innocent lives like they own the place. And to think it's not even related to politics or social issues, but just basic human being-hating

I swear, every time I think we're getting closer to peace and understanding, something like this comes along and blows it all away

. It's like they're trying to spin this into a positive or something. Meanwhile, all we're hearing about is the devastating impact on civilians in Nigeria

And now with these mass shootings happening everywhere, it feels like we're living in some kind of worst-case scenario movie. Six people in Mississippi alone lost their lives to a single gunman... it's just heartbreaking.

Anyway, back to Syria... what's the point of bombing ISIS if they just keep coming back? It feels like we're stuck in some crazy cycle of violence. And don't even get me started on the bird flu viruses... how did that even happen?! 
I was supposed to study for my exams but all I could think about was all these violent news stories coming out... Like, what's going on with the world right now?! 
it's not just about targeting ISIS or whatever terrorist group but also the innocent ppl caught in the crossfire 
like what's up with that? they're all about competing and one-upping others instead of working together to create a better world 
. First it was 70 targets hit in Syria, then Tomahawk missiles failing to explode in Nigeria... what exactly are they trying to achieve? The fact that they're doing this on Christmas night doesn't seem very festive
