I think it's wild that top athletes are choosing silence over speaking out on such a massive human rights issue Like, they have so much influence and reach, but instead of using their platforms to make a difference, they're worried about losing sponsorship deals or getting roasted online . It's like, yeah, those things can be tough, but what's the alternative? Ignoring a genocide ?

And it's not just that – it's also about fear of being seen as "political" or "taking sides" . Newsflash: athletes are already taking sides by choosing to participate in certain sports and competitions . They're already making statements, even if they don't realize it.

But what really gets me is that people think speaking out on social justice issues is just about being "brave" or "courageous" . No, it's not. It's about doing what's right and using your platform to amplify marginalized voices . And if some athletes can't handle the heat, then maybe they shouldn't be in that position .

It's time for athletes to take a stand (literally) and use their platforms to demand justice and equality. We need them to speak truth to power and inspire others to follow in their footsteps . Anything less is just silence, and we all know how powerful that can be

OMG u guyz i feel like its super weird that alot of elite athletes rnt speaking out about whats happenin in gaza like theyre all like "oh im just gonna keep my head down and focus on me sports career" but honestly theres so much at stake here... i mean think bout it if we dont speak up 4 somethin we dont believe in its easy 2 jus sit back & watch but the thing is athletes have such a massive platform & influence - they cud make or break careers & companies with just one tweet but atm its all like "nah ill just keep quiet" i get that sponsorship deals are important etc but cmon - isnt it better 2 speak out & risk losin some money than 2 be part of the problem?
