?! So like, California's governor Gavin Newsom is all upset because the White House said he was being dramatic about closing down a section of I-5 during that Marine Corps anniversary thingy 
. But honestly, it sounds like they did have some safety measures in place 
... or at least, that's what the Marines are saying

he's just looking out for us regular folk who don't wanna get caught in the crossfire of some crazy live-fire demo. The White House is all like "oh no, Newsom's being dramatic" but honestly, can you blame him? I mean, if your grandma was there and got hurt because of a sloppy event, would you be okay with that too? 
i mean i get that it was the marines' 250th anniversary and all but can't we just have a parade or something instead of, like, blowing stuff up
