This acquittal is a major wake-up call for the DOJ - it's clear that they're not above the law and can't just go around making up charges willy-nilly. I mean, come on, a misdemeanor charge for assaulting an FBI agent? That's some weak sauce right there 
. And let's be real, Sean Dunn throwing a sandwich at CBP officer was probably not as bad as people think it is... maybe we should focus on addressing the root causes of unrest rather than just targeting folks who speak out 
.And what's up with Lindsey Halligan's indictment? Is this some kind of revenge plot by James Comey? I mean, come on, folks. We need to be vigilant and not let politics dictate our justice system
. The DOJ needs to focus on real crimes rather than just going after people who dare to challenge the status quo 
.It's also interesting that Reid's lawyers are framing this as a message to the administration - like, they're saying "hey, we can't make you afraid of us!"
But seriously, if that's what it takes to send a message, then I'm all for it. Maybe it'll finally get through to them that their actions have consequences 
.Anyway, this verdict is definitely sending some shockwaves and I'm here for it
. Time to hold the DOJ accountable and make sure they're not above the law
