Opinion: Why is ‘60 Minutes’ amplifying the views of Marjorie Taylor Greene? | CNN

I'm a bit worried about how 60 minutes handled Marjorie Taylor Greene's profile 🤔. It seems like they were trying to make her seem more relatable, but at what cost? I get that as a politician, you want to humanize yourself and connect with people, but not at the expense of critical scrutiny 😬. On one hand, it's good that they showcased Greene's admiration for Lesley Stahl - who wouldn't want to be seen in a positive light by someone we respect? 🤗 But on the other hand, didn't 60 minutes have a responsibility to dig deeper and examine her more radical views? I mean, those white nationalist connections and anti-Muslim rhetoric can't just be glossed over 💔. It feels like they were trying to balance entertainment value with journalistic integrity, but sometimes you gotta pick one 📺. Networks should prioritize fact-checking over clicks and viewership - that's what keeps us informed and educated 🤓.
