omg israel gotta explain whats goin on here!!! 16 yr old kid locked up for almost a year without no charges?? that's just wrong like what even is this? US gov should be all over this ASAP, since he's an American citizen and they got allegations of torture his family deserves answers too, cant just ignore this and hope everything goes away

I don't know, I'm kinda with both sides here ... I mean, what's up with Israel not charging this kid after nine months? It's like they're playing a game of cat and mouse or something . But at the same time, I also think that Mohammed's family needs to calm down and stop making these allegations about beatings and torture stuff. I mean, I don't want anyone to get hurt, but if he was really tortured, wouldn't that be like super obvious? And then again, isn't it kinda suspicious that he's being held in this adult prison with all those "serious terrorist offenses" guys? But I guess we can't just assume the worst without knowing all the facts, right?

I'm also a bit worried about how this whole situation is affecting Mohammed's life. I mean, 16 years old should be enjoying high school and hanging out with friends, not stuck in some prison cell waiting for his trial to start . And what if he gets convicted? Will that mean he'll have to live in Israel or something? That would be super unfair . But at the same time, I'm not sure if I fully trust the US government to do the right thing and just release him or something...

I'M SO FRUSTRATED WITH THIS SITUATION!!! MOHAMMED IBRAHIM HAS BEEN HELD FOR NINE MONTHS WITHOUT CHARGE AND IT'S JUST NOT RIGHT!!! HE'S A TEENAGER, FOR PETE'S SAKE! HE SHOULDN'T BE TREATED LIKE AN ADULT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, HE WAS FORCED TO CONFESS TO ALLEGED CRIMES AFTER BEING BEATEN BY SOLDIERS? THAT'S JUST SADISTIC AND INHUMANE!!! I HOPE HIS FAMILY GETS THE SUPPORT THEY NEED FROM THE US EMBASSY AND OTHER HUMAN RIGHTS GROUPS.

AS A COUNTRY, WE SHOULD BE DOING MORE TO PROTECT OUR CITIZENS, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO THEM BEING HELD WITHOUT CHARGE OR TRIAL. MOHAMMED'S CASE IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF HOW ISRAEL'S ACTION CAN HAVE SEVERE CONSEQUENCES FOR HUMAN RIGHTS.

man this is just so messed up 16 year old kid held for 9 months without any charge, it's like something straight outta a horror movie. back in my day we used to think that holding someone without charge was a breach of basic human rights, i remember watching those old newsreels of the berlin wall and thinking how ridiculous it was to be locked up just because you were from the "wrong" side of the track. nowadays it's like people have forgotten what it means to be treated fairly and with dignity

I'm not surprised this kid is still stuck in that place, gotta be some shady stuff goin' down for him to be held for so long without even a charge . I mean, what's the US Embassy doin', just sendin' someone to visit him? That's like throwin' a bone to keep everyone quiet, but ain't fixin' nothin'. And don't even get me started on Ofer prison, that's some serious hardcore stuff they got there . It's all about politics and who's got the power, not about doin' what's right for this kid or his family. US lawmakers are just grandstanders, shoutin' from the rooftops without puttin' their money where their mouth is . I'm guessin' we'll be seein' more of this in the future 'cause that's just how it goes when you're dealin' with places like Israel .
