The whole situation with Netflix and the Pentagon is super weird 
. I mean, what's wrong with having a show that represents the LGBTQ+ community in the military? It's not like it's hurting anyone, right? 
The Pentagon is basically saying that the show is "woke garbage" and that it's compromising on standards, but isn't that just code for "it makes us uncomfortable"? 
I also think it's wild that some people are calling for a boycott because of this. Like, shouldn't we be promoting diversity and representation in media?
The show is actually pretty good and it's doing an amazing job of highlighting the complexities of LGBTQ+ experiences in the military.And can we talk about how ridiculous it is that the Pentagon is trying to limit press freedom?
Like, what even is going on with those new policies? It sounds like they're just trying to silence people who are speaking out against these kind of issues. That's not cool, dude

I'm not saying Boots is bad or anything, but the Pentagon's response just seems like a desperate attempt to silence people who aren't on their side. It's like they're trying to erase history instead of embracing it...
