Pentagon criticises Netflix for making ‘woke garbage’ after gay military drama

🤔 The whole situation with Netflix and the Pentagon is super weird 🤪. I mean, what's wrong with having a show that represents the LGBTQ+ community in the military? It's not like it's hurting anyone, right? 🤷‍♀️ The Pentagon is basically saying that the show is "woke garbage" and that it's compromising on standards, but isn't that just code for "it makes us uncomfortable"? 😳

I also think it's wild that some people are calling for a boycott because of this. Like, shouldn't we be promoting diversity and representation in media? 🤝 The show is actually pretty good and it's doing an amazing job of highlighting the complexities of LGBTQ+ experiences in the military.

And can we talk about how ridiculous it is that the Pentagon is trying to limit press freedom? 📰 Like, what even is going on with those new policies? It sounds like they're just trying to silence people who are speaking out against these kind of issues. That's not cool, dude 😒.

Anyway, I think this whole situation is a reminder that we need more nuanced and thoughtful conversations about identity, acceptance, and social justice. 💡 We can't just keep having the same debates over and over again. It's time to listen to each other and try to understand where people are coming from. 🤗

I mean, who knew the military was so "woke" they needed to call out Netflix? 🤷‍♀️ I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that some people are just really uncomfortable with their own biases showing on screen... The whole thing is just a big mess. Can't we all just agree to be inclusive and respectful of everyone's experiences without having to take a swipe at someone else's TV show? 🤦‍♂️ I'm not saying Boots is bad or anything, but the Pentagon's response just seems like a desperate attempt to silence people who aren't on their side. It's like they're trying to erase history instead of embracing it... 💁‍♀️
