so the pentagon is trashing netflix for having a show that features gay ppl in the military but i think its kinda cool that they're finally bringing attention to these stories 
the 90s were a super tough time for lgbtq+ folks in the military, and it's awesome that "boots" is shedding some light on that 
meanwhile, the pentagon's trying to spin this as them restoring their "warrior ethos" but really they're just trying to silence ppl who don't fit into their narrow definition of a "warrior" 
like, what about people who are trans or non-binary? shouldn't we be celebrating our differences instead of trying to erase them 
this is so weird the pentagon is trying to control what we watch on netflix like they're some kind of thought police 
I mean i get that there are ppl in the military who dont agree with lgbtq+ representation but thats not a reason to silence others or call it "woke garbage" 
its all about freedom of speech and expression 
plus just cuz its on netflix doesnt mean we gotta conform to some outdated idea of what makes a good show 
. The military needs to evolve too, not be stuck in the past
