Philippines begins cleanup as Typhoon Kalmaegi death toll hits 85

man... 85 lives lost already? can't believe it 🤕 that helicopter crash is so senseless. my heart goes out to those missing familes, hope they get found safe & sound soon 🙏 cleanup efforts are a big deal, but what about the long-term effects on the people who survived? mental health issues, trauma... it's gonna take time to recover from this 🤯

🌪️ u know what's crazy? like typhoons are literally natural disasters but we need to have systems in place to deal with them, ya know? like the philippine military has a humanitarian mission and it still goes wrong 🤕 85 lives lost is not nothing, 75 people missing is a lot of uncertainty. the fact that it's been 16 years since marlon enriquez has seen flooding and now he's dealing with it again is just heartbreaking 😔

and have you seen those flash flood pics? they're like something out of a movie, but it's real life 📸. i'm worried about the impact on the environment too, all that rainfall causing rivers to swell... it's not just human lives that are affected, it's the entire ecosystem.

anyway, kalmaegi is gonna gain strength before heading towards vietnam and china is like "catastrophic wave process" 🌊 yeah, that sounds scary. i'm keeping an eye on this one 👀

just saw this thread from like 5 days ago lol, typhoon kalmaegi is just crazy 🤯. i mean, 85 lives lost is already a lot, but the thought of all those people having to deal with mud coating their homes and flooding streets is just devastating 😩. it's not even about the destruction itself, but how it affects people's daily lives. like, marlon enriquez was trying to salvage what was left of his family's belongings... that's just heartbreaking 🤕. hope the cleanup efforts are going smoothly and everyone affected gets the help they need 💪

😔 This is so sad 🌪️... 85 lives lost? 🙏 That's just devastating. I can only imagine how scary it must've been for people to deal with all that mud and water covering their homes 💦. The fact that some folks are still missing and injured is super worrisome 😟. It's like, you're trying to rebuild your life after such a huge disaster, and then there's this ongoing uncertainty about those still lost 🤯. I hope the cleanup efforts go smoothly and quickly, and that everyone gets back on their feet soon 💪🏼.

I FEEL SO BAD FOR THE PEOPLE OF PHILIPPINES RIGHT NOW!!! 🤕🌪️ TYPHOON KALMAEGI IS SUCH A DEVASTATING STORM AND I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW TRAUMATIZING IT MUST BE FOR THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LOVED ONES OR HOMES.

IT'S SO SAD TO SEE RESIDENTS LIKE MARLON ENRIZQUEZ TRYING TO SALVAGE WHAT WAS LEFT OF HIS FAMILY'S BELONGINGS AFTER THE FLOODING. 16 YEARS IS A LONG TIME, AND IT'S UNFAIR THAT HE HAD TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

I HOPE THE GOVERNMENT AND OTHER AUTHORITIES ARE DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF PHILIPPINES WITH THE RECOVERY EFFORTS AND PROVIDE THEM WITH THE SUPPORT THEY NEED. 🌟

I feel so bad for all those affected by Typhoon Kalmaegi 😔. I was thinking about the Philippines before this storm and how beautiful their islands are... and now it's like they're going through a nightmare 🌪️. I remember when typhoons hit Japan, it was devastating too, but at least they had some warnings in place. I wonder if the Philippines could've prepared better with more warning time? 🤔 Also, 17 injured is not a lot considering the scale of destruction... hope everyone gets the help they need ASAP ❤️
