President Donald Trump commutes former New York GOP Rep. George Santos' prison sentence

idk why trump would do this... i mean, santos got caught red-handed for multiple felonies & he's basically a total liar from the start... but at the same time, i get where marjorie taylor greene is coming from - it does seem like some of his other "offenses" were pretty severe too 🤔. but still, can't we just have one standard for everyone? 😐

🤔 I gotta say, this whole George Santos thing is wild 🌪️. First of all, who do we think he's gonna turn into next? 😂 Trump's saying Santos has 'courage, conviction, and intelligence', but let's be real, he's got a rap sheet as long as my arm 📝. I mean, 7 years in the slammer for campaign finance stuff seems pretty steep to me...or should I say, Trump thinks it's steep 😏. And what's with this 'mistreated while in solitary confinement' thing? Did Trump do some behind-the-scenes investigation or something? 🕵️‍♂️ Santos was all about playing the victim and getting sympathy votes when he was in Congress...now he gets a free pass from the Prez? 🤷‍♀️

I mean, come on, 7 years in the slammer for doin' a few wrongs? It seems like Trump's got some kinda score to settle with Santos... and honestly, I'm not sure what's more puzzlin', the commutation or why people are still talkin' about it 🤷‍♂️.

I just saw this news about George Santos getting his prison sentence commuted by Trump 🤔... I mean, I don't really get why Trump would do this, he's always saying how important it is to follow the rules and respect the law... but then he goes and gives a guy who got caught lying and cheating on people a second chance? 🤷‍♂️ It just seems like a weird move. And what's with all these questions about Trump's power to commute sentences? Can't we trust him to make fair decisions? 😐 I'm not saying Santos didn't deserve it, but... yeah, this whole thing is leaving me confused 🙄
