Republicans are losing the political battle over the shutdown

🤯 come on Mike Johnson what's good? 😒 refusing to swear in your new colleague Adelita Grijalva is just a major head scratcher. It's like trying to run an empty house 🏠, she can't do any work for her constituents and it's just not right. And I feel for the people who are getting affected by this shutdown, air traffic controllers, federal workers, military personnel... they're all in this together 💼🕰️ 72% of Americans support extending ACA subsidies which is a pretty clear indication that most people are on the same team 🤝 as Democrats. It's time for Republicans to step up and take responsibility for their actions 📈

🤯 So, the Speaker's being super dodgy about swearing in this one rep-elect and it's like, what even is going on? Like, they're basically saying she doesn't exist yet... meanwhile, everyone knows she does! 🙄 It's just so frustrating when you see politicians being all obstinate and stuff. And yeah, this is like, totally affecting the whole government shutdown thing - people are getting paid but not doing their jobs... it's a mess. The numbers are pretty clear: most Americans support keeping ACA subsidies in place (72%!) while only 30% think they're on the right track? 🤷‍♀️ It's like, come on guys! You can't just ignore what the majority of people want and expect everything to be okay. And honestly, it feels like a bunch of Republicans are being super out of touch with reality... I mean, I used to be part of that party, but after seeing how they're handling this, I'm like totally done with that ship. 🚫 The thing is, you can't just win elections by pretending everything's fine when it's not - you gotta actually listen to people and work together. Otherwise, you'll just end up losing trust and credibility... and trust me, I know from experience 😬.

can't believe what's happening in arizona 🤯... think republicans are playing with fire here... just a few years ago they were all about 'government of the people', now it feels like they're trying to erase the people's voice 👎. 72% of americans want affordable care, but republicans don't seem to care 🤑. what happened to 'working together'? 😒
