Republicans silent and Democrats incensed on fifth anniversary of US Capitol attack

🤔 I dont think republicans are as bad off as ppl r makin them out 2 b... dont 4get they did support dem votes 2 impeach trump in first place & most of dem still support him lol 🙄

🤔 I'm so confused about the whole thing. Like, I get that some people are still bitter about what happened on Jan 6 🤕 but can't they just put aside their differences for one day? It's been 5 years already 🕰️. And yeah, Trump's pardons are super shady... like, who does he think he is giving them all free passes? 🚫 I need to see some credible sources on this before I fully believe it happened.

And what's up with these protests near the Capitol? Some people are still loyal to the Proud Boys and stuff... shouldn't they be in prison by now? 😒 The fact that they're showing up and wearing pardons like it's no big deal is just messed up. We need more accountability here.

I'm also super disappointed in Republicans for not speaking out more. Like, if you're gonna distance yourself from Trump, do it! 🗣️ It's time to move on from this toxic drama. Can't we all just focus on moving forward and making America better? 🤞

I'm still trying to wrap my head around why Republicans weren't more vocal about their past or even present connection to that dark day 🤔. It's crazy how some folks can just move on, even after the lives were lost and people got hurt 😢. I get it, politicians can be tricky to pin down, but what's most concerning is when they avoid accountability altogether 👎. The pardons from Trump are mind-boggling – almost 2K people getting a free pass? 🤯 It's like they're trying to erase history or something. What really gets me, though, is the contrast between Democrats condemning Trump and Republicans not speaking up 🗣️. It's like they're afraid of their own shadow. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if any real change comes out of this 👀.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing 🤯. If they're not gonna own up to what happened, then they might as well just leave the plaque on hold 💔. It's like, yeah, okay, you can't distance yourself from Trump if you're not acknowledging what he did 🚫. And those pardons? Like, come on, who does that? 🙄 The silence from Republicans is deafening 😱.

Here's a little mind map to help me think this through:
```
+---------------+
| Lack of |
| Accountability |
+---------------+
|
|
v
+-------------------------------+
| Republican Silence |
| on January 6 Anniversary |
| Pardons and Trump's Actions |
| (Missed Opportunity) |
+-------------------------------+
```
I just hope that if Republicans can't own up to what happened, then maybe they can be part of the solution 🤞.

🤔 I think it's pretty interesting how Democrats are using this somber anniversary to shine a light on the aftermath of the insurrection, while Republicans are being kinda quiet about it...like, what's up? You'd think they'd want to use this chance to show some unity and condemn Trump's actions once and for all. But I guess that just wasn't in the cards today 😐. It does seem like a big opportunity for them to rebrand themselves as a party that values democracy, though...and maybe that'll happen eventually. The thing is, it's not like Trump's actions were just some random weirdness - they had real-world consequences and hurt a lot of people 🤕. I'm kinda curious to see how this all plays out in the long run 😊
