omg this is crazy!!! i cant believe opec+ just slashed their oil production like 1.6 million barrels per day!! that's gonna send shockwaves through the energy markets for sure ! i'm no expert but it sounds like this move will definitely send gas prices up, up, up national avg us gas prices are already at $3.51 a gallon and Kloza is saying they could reach $3.80-$3.90 in no time ! what's wild is that even tho opec has the capacity to cut production, Kloza thinks it might not be enough to offset the impact . i guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out
I'm reading this news about OPEC cutting oil production and it makes me think, what else could they be planning? The prices are already rising and it's going to affect a lot of people, especially with inflation on the rise. It's interesting that Tom Kloza is saying they're trying to reawaken the inflation monster... like, are they trying to cause problems or just balance supply and demand? I also wonder what this means for the US economy, and how it's going to affect our daily lives. Will we see $5 a gallon gas anytime soon?
Man, can you believe this? OPEC+ is basically telling us they're done playing nice with the rest of the world . One million barrels a day less oil is huge and it's only May . I'm not surprised gas prices are going up though - it's been ages since we've seen a move like this. Remember when Ukraine was all over the news last year? Prices were through the roof then too . Now, with OPEC+ making their own rules, things are getting interesting. I hope the US can keep up with releasing more oil from that Strategic Petroleum Reserve . We'll see how it plays out, but for now, I'm keeping an eye on those gas prices .
I'm low-key freaking out about this . I mean, who needs a 6% price hike at gas pumps? Not me, that's for sure! It's already affecting the economy, and it's only gonna get worse if they keep pumping up prices like this. And don't even get me started on inflation... it's like, how are people supposed to afford basic stuff when prices are through the roof? I'm all about keeping it real, and gas prices just hit a whole new level of "outta control"
