Rutgers conservatives who challenged ‘Dr. Antifa’ say they’re being punished as university backs professor

🤕 "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." 🌪️ - Martin Luther King Jr.

I think both sides have valid points, it's just that the university needs to find a middle ground. Maybe they could have an open discussion with Turning Point USA about their concerns and Bray's actions, instead of trying to silence them through technicalities. It's all about finding common ground and respecting different perspectives. 🤝

Can't believe what's going down at Rutgers U 🤯! They're basically saying that being left-wing or supporting certain ideologies means you get to dictate who gets a job there? Newsflash: that's not how academia works, guys 👥 Professor Bray might be polarizing but he's still got a right to express himself. And those TPUSA folks aren't exactly the most objective bunch either 😒 Either way, it's getting old seeing people on campus walk on eggshells because they don't want to "offend" someone. We need more free speech and less silencing of differing views 🤔

🤔 I'm literally so tired of these types of battles on campus... can't we all just have an open discussion without fear of being labeled as "enemies of the left"? 🙄 It's like, okay, let's hear both sides and try to understand where each other is coming from. Professor Bray may have a different view, but so does everyone else... shouldn't we be able to have that? 😒 And what's with all these petitions and demands for removal? Can't we just talk things through like adults? 🤦‍♀️ It's not like one side has to completely silence the other. Let's focus on finding common ground, folks! 👫

I'm getting so tired of these politics wars on campus 🤯. Can't we just have a respectful debate without people trying to remove each other? It's like, we all pay taxes (as Megyn Doyle pointed out) and expect our universities to be places where we can express ourselves freely... or at least try to. The fact that it's getting personal with Bray's books and statements is worrying me 😟. It feels like the university is taking sides rather than trying to mediate. Turning Point USA has every right to speak out against what they see as a threat to free speech, but so does anyone else who disagrees... I wish people could just listen to each other without getting all worked up 🙏
