‘Scary, cold, hungry and lonely’: Volunteer soldier shares experience on front line | CNN

Wow 🤯 people are so brave 💪 and selfless, signing up to fight for something they care about 😊 but mentally it's like you're losing your grip on reality 😵 war is super messed up 💔 the more I think about it the more interesting it gets 🤓

🤕 I'm seriously worried about these volunteer soldiers like Akula 🤕... fighting on the front lines for nearly 2 years now 😩. Mental health is already super tough to manage, and being stuck in that kind of environment must be taking a huge toll on him 😓. It's heartbreaking to see someone who was once so full of enthusiasm and dedication now feeling empty and disconnected 💔. We need to make sure these soldiers are getting the support they need when they get back home 🤝💕. Can't even imagine how scary it must be for them, seeing the things he's seen 😱👊

🤕 this guy is literally putting his life on hold for 2 years now and it's just getting worse he's been through hell indeed & I'm sure most ppl can't even imagine what that feels like 💔 the system should be more supportive for mental health, especially when u're in a war zone 🚫

😓 I'm literally shaking thinking about this guy's story... 2 years ago he joins the fight for Ukraine and now he's talking about being "cold, hungry and lonely" on the front lines 🥶😔. It's like, what are we even doing to ourselves when we choose to put our lives in harm's way for a cause? I mean, I'm all for defending freedom and justice, but at what cost? 💔 He said he's been through hell and has seen things no human should ever have to see... 😱 my heart is literally breaking thinking about it 🤕. And now he's talking about feeling "emptiness" and disconnection from the world... I feel like we're all just struggling in our own ways, you know? 🤗
