Ugh, can we please get some better mods around here? The article about Ukraine volunteer Akula is really tragic, but it's hard to fully engage with his story when I'm distracted by all the annoying ads popping up every 5 minutes

And can someone please explain to me why my post from like 3 days ago isn't showing up in the "threads" section? It's super frustrating because I feel like my thoughts are getting lost in the void.
Anyway, back to Akula's story... it's heartbreaking what he went through. The fact that war can be so isolating and traumatic is something we should all be aware of, especially with how often it breaks out these days
